Dude needs to go to empire and get a distribution deal and release artists on empire a mixtape like experience can be achieved with streaming companies like Spotify Apple music that way just offer a deal with producers where they get paid off every stream with the artists instead of just a lump sum upfront like a mixtape is set up and then take those tracks that you released and start doing sync deals for TV film and ads
Wise business move he knew times were changing he sold before the losses became tremendous im sure he sold for a profit too and if not he at least made profit thru the lifetime of the business 💯
Datpiff was my apple music back in middle school & high school. That & MyMixtapez had what I was looking for. Wayne, Tyga, Nipsey, Big Sean, & Chris Brown mixtapes were a few I got off of those platforms. This is before streaming really came into play but those were the predecessors for what we have today cause most people were bootlegging with limewire & bit torrent 😂 (geez I feel old).

Nah they couldn’t sell that because samples weren’t cleared. Only get ad revenue I would think
