At this time the vtuber explosion toggle is not available because of some concerns about it showing parts of the model it really shouldn't, but hopefully it will be reimplemented soon!!

All of reality exists as a figment of its imagination and should it wake up then reality will pop like the passing thought it all is. It's also known as the "Blind Idiot God" and is meant as a parody of an all powerful omnipotent omniscient monotheistic deity like the Abrahamic one.
Others include:
Yog-Sothoth, the outer god of knowledge and time and may or may not merely be Azathoth's brain but somehow independently self aware.
Shub-Niggurath, parody on fertility deities with all lesser gods born from it... assuming they escape its always hungering gluttonous maws first.
There's also the Crawling Chaos and Speaker in the Dark, Nyarlathotep. Also the only outer god who doesn't need to be invited into reality. Only outer god who knows how that thing does that would be Azathoth and Azathoth ain't gonna say anything helpful.

not just the mouth tracking (which is the best ive seen too, MAYBE a close second to Bao) but her eyes! the way her ears move when she widens her eyes are such quality!
iirc Limes told her rigger that she doesn't like using face toggles, so the rigger really put a lot of work into it.

But we have a comedian who usually plays useless comic relief characters playing Roland. We have some lady in her 60's playing lilith someone who at most is in her 20's and I don't even remember who is playing brick

Well everyone here... The movie is out... And it's -100,000,000$ "profits" say a lot about how much they actually cared about the source material 😢 they spent 140 MILLION making it... And they made roughly 40Million back. The reviews are trash, I went and saw it... I was highly unimpressed... 😭

Afaik these are 2D. Alot of VTuber's use 2D characters that have a lot of tricks done to make them look 3D.

Vtuber models have gotten so good. Ones like this have moved past any uncanny valley and just look well animated.
Anime like this is far enough from human looking to not trigger the uncanny Valley.
@BobertTheThirdson I guess I worded it poorly, but it's not about the look, but the movement. Early rigs movement was jarring, but now they're so fluid that they could start to be mistaken as predone animation.
@@aurumarma5711 A lot of this is because of the sheer amount of money being put into it nowadays. Some of the best model movements can easily cost 30k for a full body, which is also why most VTubers do the whole chest and up models and rarely show any legs.
Meanwhile Holo and Niji: Naaah it's fine, it makes money anyway

The lip tracking is amazing.
They just played with the settings in the right way and are using an iphone for traking. I swear I'm literally tired to see those big corporate VTubers literally using choppy lip tracking or just putting PNG images over the model for clothes that don't actually move when they move, it's horrible
That return to the normal model after the exploded version is very unsettling. I love it!

I scroll past vtubers whenever I see them but this stopped me dead in my tracks just on a technical level. The mouth movements and idle animations are like a pre-baked level of quality, it's wild. The fact that it knows subtle expressions and uses them to animate the eyes getting smaller and stuff.. nuts.
Well, I mean, generally all the pieces are pre-drawn and tied to different expressions, aren't they?
One of the tricks to V-tubing is learning to over-emote to everything specifically so your camera picks up the proper details for your model.

Man the mouth tracking/lip syncing for this model is so good, very impressive. This along with Shylily's models have some of the best rigging that I've ever seen, props to both the artists and the riggers.
