The internet Overdose ending also becomes EVEN WORSE when you realize the context in save 0 because it means that on top of Ame herself being mentally ill and having other issues which would make her extremely vulnerable to THAT level of doxxing, she was basically just losing her mind alone. There was no person called "P-chan", and there was nobody to comfort her or pull her out of the spiral. Her mind just dies off and that's it.
@@Youmu_Konpaku_ It's not a theory, it's pretty much implied in the game itself and in the manga/anthologies where P-chan just looks like almost anything the artist draws as or flat-out doesn't exist. Plus it's way scarier.
@@Youmu_Konpaku_is it stupid? in internet overdose after ame goes insane and starts talking to p-chan, p-chan also also starts talking nonsense about “morpho butterflies” and stuff. and ame was hallucinating that stalkers were ringing her doorbell but the player hears it too, which only makes sense if everything was from ame’s POV. because if the player was controlling another person called p-chan they wouldn’t be experiencing ame’s hallucinations. but the screen gets all psychedelic when she overdoses on drugs too, because we’re looking through ame’s eyes and going through her drug trip.
@@xRawrC00kiex Isn't p-chan just... the player? about the drug drip, i thought they just drugged at the same time or something like that, i guess it's just open to the player's believe, p-chan being the player or just her imagination, both seems valid, unless devs confirms what's the real one.
@@Zekent you’re playing the game as ame, but she has an imaginary p-chan she’s talking to. she has the webcam open to look at herself. in the dark angel ending she slits her own throat on stream, but blood splatters on your screen because it’s ame in front of the computer. in one of the endings she stabs p-chan, but it actually looks like she stabbed her monitor.
Yeah I think the 0 ending IS meant to reveal that P-Chan was Ame all along... in fact it's pretty obvious all the way through the entire game when you look at it from that perspective: 1. Ame is looking at her phone, but she's actually talking to you through the computer = She's sending messages via phone to her own computer 2. All endings that attack you, only attack and break your own computer 3. The Webcam she uses is basically her own webcam talking to herself... it's not a distance stream for Ame or anything 4. When she gets affected mentally or goes on drugs... so do you 5. In Save 0, she doesn't look at her phone... she looks at herself on the computer screen and decides to take the future in her own hands 6. The Ending 0 Secret.txt is the real clue as it's left on YOUR computer... You are Ame
The Cucked/NTR ending is actually not that surprising: whenever a beloved streamer turns out to not be single, some of their fans will become insanely jealous and hateful because they think they’re entitled to the streamer’s affection. Pretty messed up.
I feel like this game is way more indicative of japanese e-girl streamer culture- it's not all sunshine and kittens in the west either, but western e-girl streamers CAN have a relationship or clown on toxic audience members without being completely exiled, at the very least
Love how realistic the artificial comments are. It’s almost exactly how people would normally comment and it’s thoroughly up to date with current culture. Only issue is how tiny they are and how hard it is to read them.
This is like, scarily realistic in terms of depicting a young-ish girl with issues. As someone who dated a few girls with self worth issues aswell as other mental liabilities, this really hit close to home in some places. Not sure if the devs have similar experiences or even have someone like that, but I hope they'll be fine. If that can ever be achieved, that is.
Totally agree, ain't no saint but I've been with a lot of toxic and troubled individual and the dialogue she has with p-chan sometimes feels so textbook its like a conversation I've had with them before, guess that's why there's a content warning. Well made game all around but got really close to home at times.
The toxic twitter behavior thing hits especially hard yeah, when you've had some of your first teenage relationships during that twitter era, things like finding out what your gf is actually doing or thinking (or even that you're now out of the picture) by looking at her private account vs what she tells you directly is stratospheric levels of cursed.
@@YozoOba-k6pthat's the thing, they can't, like, there's something in their heads that don't let them, that's the scary part Do you see someone idk, crying, and say "just don't cry"?
She had mental illness from the very start of the game right? I get the feeling that p-chan (you) was just an imaginary boyfriend made up by her as to keep herself as mentally stable as possible. She's making all the decisions herself, taking drugs, going out, playing, streaming, and in the case of sex, shes probably just using the toys she buys to do it. All the endings that seemingly sounded happy, although twisted were clearly never meant to be the true endings. At the amusement park, Living with p-chan is "boring" because shes actually alone Every main interaction is through sms and for every reply you make, you can only reply through an emoji, *UNLESS* shes having a breakdown. During her breakdowns, your replies could just be herself either breaking down completely or trying to keep herself intact. Which is why in the secret ending, shes attempting to do everything on her own without your help. When shes successful, and overall sounds mentally ok, she leaves you with a goodbye, a thanks for everything and her sights on the future. I'm sure alot of people who feel the same have got an imaginary friend too to cure true loneliness You as the player is an imaginary person she created to stabilize her mental so she wouldn't truly feel alone.
Disagree. I don't think P-Chan is just her imaginary friend. *The post by Luzi82 (Steam) makes the most sense to me* "In the chinese secret.txt file, it say "這次的培養失敗啦". (The GROWTH this time is failed). That mean the P-chan is come from "growth". That can be AI. But in English secret.txt file, it does not say anything about "Growth". If P-chan is come from growth, then the Data1-3 are simulator to grow P-chan, the Ame-chan there is just simulation and fake. In the simulator you can jump to any day. In "Rainbow girl", that Ame realize she is in the Matrix and try talking to the god. And the Data 0 is the reality. You cannot jump to any date. Even you can go back to Data1-3 by clicking the date in bottom right, But when you leave the Data1-3 simulation, you will go back to Data 0 Day 30. I have tried reading Japanese secret.txt. I dont know Japanese, but I guess it does not mention anything about "growth" (培養). So the 培養 may be mis-translation, and I can be wrong. But my theory can explain Data1-3 and zero. This thread have point out one thing important: the secret.txt already exist at the beginning of the game. I still unable to explain that."
@@MakinaIcy That kinda mean That all these views and massages and numbers are simulation She literally in world made for her Just to see how far we can push her buttons to explode or workout with our tactics Especially if it's growth Maybe how she react to the player different choices Like Monika She is an IA who opened her eyes
@@MakinaIcy just rewatched rainbow girl ending, and now that I think of it, the secret.txt does have her thoughts on p-chan before and after. Then proceeds to saying that she'll just make a better p-chan. Plus the fact that you can switch from different days, even when you already get an ending. Not to mention, if *SHE* takes drugs *YOUR* screen gets screwed up damnn
@@MakinaIcy There is one more thing to consider: The ending "Happy End World" is actually NOT a requirement for data 0. That means after getting all the other endings in her own head or her simulator she arrives at data 0, but she still feels unhappy. And "Happy End World" is what comes after that, as the player now breaks free out of the limited options he's given and turns off his own internet, causing everyone in the game to experience as if no one else has any internet. We can see that even Ame herself tries to post something on tweeter, but it doesn't get any likes or retweets. So truly to make Ame the happiest she needs to summon an otherworldly being to FORCE her off the internet
My first playthrough, I made sure she was mentally and emotionally stable as possible, as is my responsibility as his producer/partner. And all I got in return is a normal human being who wants to pursue a good career. I mean, it's nice but how about all of the recording equipment I bought?
Honestly, it hits different than DDLC. I really, really felt bad for Ame. Just as I did when DDLC become famous, I watch the endings first before I play the game. I guess what made me sad is because no matter what, there is no "true happy" ending where everyone is happy and fine. And you have to go step by step WITH her, unlike Monika who just gone rogue and do everything on her own, you have watch her downfall despite she doing her best, which is heartbreaking... I need to give this a game a try
I mean I known someone was gonna talk about ddlc but obviously these two games are totally different and the story are not the same, but I know where you're coming from. As someone who played ddlc, the game is way much more different than this game, you're in a school, you enter a club and you meet pretty girls but more and more you continue to play the game and it becomes more and more weird and creepy while revealing the character's backstory and how they met and how they entered the club etc.. but both games are great. I would also like to give this game a try because it looks very interesting. And also the thing I wanted to add is that in the game Monika is the one having full control on the game because she's the one trying to 'break the 4th wall' I don't wanna go full on, on the lore but you get my point; Ddlc is a very good game with original and interesting characters, nobody can compare these two games because they're different and also because they're both scary and unique in their own way.
Man, I really like that true ending, her being able to take control of her own life instead of p-Chan, or what I assume to be “player-Chan”. Kind of heartwarming to see someone you tried so hard to get her happiness but it turns out that she had to find it for themselves
@@Akuma_Langdon its not like many vtubers hit it THAT big, so why not stream for a small audience? please remember that if you do start streaming, you should probably do it regularly but with long enough intervals, like one a month/ two weeks
I have a theory that all of the endings you can get are just Ame mentally playing out every single scenario she can think of when it comes to streaming. Maybe she cracks under the pressure and kills herself. Maybe all goes well and she becomes the big time streamer she set out to be. Maybe she develops an addiction to sex and recreational drugs that completely takes her out of the game. Where the "true ending" comes in, I think, is after Ame has considered all possibilities. P-chan (and everyone else in the game) isn't actually real and is just a figment of Ame's imagination. This is why the player has no control during that route, because Ame has decided to actually commit to streaming as a career. At this point, I think she is at least somewhat aware of what her own problems/illnesses are and the pitfalls that may be present during her journey with respect to those things. In the end, we can see that her road is a tough one. She still breaks down, and she's still human. However, I think went on to ultimately be successful. BLESS
and when she meets with a boy streamer he left her and when that happened she hated men all of a sudden, meaning she cant be in real life that much as she usually talks to someone fake
You know, I like this interpretation more than the entire thing is a virtual simulation programmed in or we're actually god, this shows a definite actual light at the end of the tunnel. I just think that's great yknow. The story isn't pessimestic, hell have you seen the endings? But despite everything she has thought of she pushed through and maybe became happy :) found her own success dictated by probably long noghts of thinking.
Interesting note, the title of the stream at 29:58 can actually be decoded to say "Welcome to the Internet Angel's Stream!" if you Caesar Cipher the text by 13 letters. And then at 30:23, it says "Now, she is truly happy."
something I really like about the Internet Overdose ending is that while Kangel is of course looking like That, her chat is going on as normal. she's not actually like that on stream, but it's a perfect capture of her mental state while streaming.
Most people think that ‘P-Chan’ and Ame are the same person or that we’re some sort of alter-ego/ coping mechanism made by Ame to project her best qualities onto but personally, I think that P-Chan isn’t Ame herself but rather, a personification of her computer. I think P-Chan may be a play on ‘PC’. It’s like a bridge between her internet persona (Kangel) and her true self (Ame). Another interesting point is that whenever Ame goes out or does the naughty, we don’t see where she goes but we’re stuck seeing her room through her webcam. Also when she kills the player in one of the endings, you can see she stab her computer screen. It goes dark and you can see her reflection behind the screen.
Yeah, PCHan is the player, like PC = Player character. Ame is IRL her, and Kangel is the streamer persona. It becomes super clear thats the case in Nerdy Streamer Overload when she immediately forgets about pchan and dates some other famous guy that cheats on her.
I had a breakdown with the Catastrophe ending, because how Ame sent p-chan to shit and then started blaming them ("i wonder who's fault it is"), giving him an indirect about everything was their fault... made me remember of how my ex girlfriend used to be. But the breakdown stopped once i understood the message of this game. My ex girlfriend used to be like that: She wanted help, but she refused to allow me to help her, because when i asked how i could help her, she only said things like "killing me" and left me without any clue on how to help her. And then, she got mad at me because i didn't gave that help to her, because i didn't knew how to help her, because SHE didn't knew how to help HERSELF. She went through a lot of shit on her life, but she never was on peace with herself. I had to be very careful with my words in order to not gave her a breakdown. At the end, i was the one who needed help. I ended on the hospital due to massive headaches i had because of the stress and anxiety she left to me, i was in such an unhealthy status that i wasn't even able to eat or drink water. The anxiety and the stress made me to puke everything i consumed. I ended up being on teraphy, and to this day, i can't still forgive myself for everything that happened when i was her bf. I can't still forget everything she said to me, and how she started to fall down until the point she started to back-talk of me with her friends, saying that i replaced her with my favorite game or even saying that I WAS the one who was victimizing, even dragged my bf to the problem, saying that she hoped i ended on an abusive relationship with my bf (he was my bf before her, and then break up so i could be with her; we talked about it, and then he said that he also wanted to be my boyfriend again), when she was the abusive one and he's the healthiest guy in the world, just because she didn't knew how to help herself and couldn't stay in terms with herself. At the end, even my mom told me how important was to learn that i couldn't fix everyone in the world. I was an innocent boy who also thought that he was able to help people and "fix" them. But then, i realized i had my own problems to fix before i want to help other people with their problem. I love this game for making to realize that. That i'm not the one to blame for everything that happened on my past relationship. I did everything i could on my innocence, she is the one who must seek help with professionals instead of seeking help on other people.
In the end this game teaches you one thing... You can't fix someone with mental health issues, is the same person who needs to stay in terms with himself. The end of the game tells this story well enough, she discovers that she was being overly obsessed with the fantasy of being a streamer and having the perfect boyfriend that it was only making her worse and it was even being painful for her, in the end letting the dream of being a streamer and you was technically the "good ending" for her but a bitter end for you. The thing is, she just only coped with this obsession at the end, sadly that doesn't mean she is cured for depression and that's a reality irl :(.
Stopped playing after getting the Secret Ending which I was lucky enough to get as a first ending, thematically perfect for me so I didn't feel like playing more, that ending gave me closure since getting off the grid after reaching her dreams is what in my opinion could be the only good ending out of them all. Literally immediately uninstalled the game and came to watch this video to see the other ones, and not regretting my decision after doing so.
It actually made me remember a shitty ex-girlfriend i had that destroyed my mental health. I had a mini breakdown cursing her again for all the things she made me went through, because she used to write things like that on her side account.
My ranking of the endings from blessed to cursed: 1) Happy End World 2) Do You Love Me? 3) Save 0 4) Nymphomania 5) Normie Life 6) So Close Yet So Far 7) Labor Is Evil 8) Flatline 9) Bomber Girl 10) (Un)Happy End World 11) Cucked 12) Fallen Angel 13) Catastrophe 14) Blazing Hell 15) Ground Control to Psychoelectric Angel 16) Utopian Parody 17) Nerdy Girl Overload 18) Welcome To My Religion 19) Needy Girl Overdose 20) There Are No Angels 21) Painful Future 22) Rainbow Girl 23) Internet Overdose
I decided to rate Happy End World as the most blessed because Ame simply decided to leave her streaming career without a trace, presumably putting herself back to personal things with P-chan without KAngel's fans getting 'cheated' on, no potential threat or any stalking, and she convinced her fans to leave the internet so they could go outside more. Of course, that's just my thoughts but heck, I gotta say that Do You Love Me? was still a pretty based ending.
agreed with internet overdose ending being most cursed, it showed ame killed a person who ringing her door then tried to brainwashed people with transmission tower and mind control waves. it's honestly really fucked up with lot of people doxing her too.
@@dark8118 The door ringing isn't literal and neither does the brain wave towers. She's basically schizo at that point. She might also killed pets in her house even.
I suspect that the true ending shows that p-chan was just her imaginary friend all along, as a matter of fact the personification of p-chan might have even been kangel the entire time.
After checking the save 0 massage We are just imaginary Like the P chan actually dont stand for Producer more like Player chan We are her imaginary friend As she stated she want to dream new P chan who is better than the last one meaning yeah There nobody only herself in this room
I think which ending is the “true ending” totally depends on the player. This entire game is the Schrödinger's cat. If you loved ame-chan and cared about her well being, you will easily achieve normie life, (un)happy end world or happy end world. To achieve (un)happy end world or happy end world depends if the player turned on its internet. Basically you can not achieve happiness with internet on. And if you cared about ame-chan you will stop at happy end world. Anyone who achieved secret.txt fulfilled 2 condition: 1. Connected to internet so you can search how to achieve each ending. 2. Intentionally tortured ame-chan for fun or curiosity through every bad ending because you subconsciously believe ame-chan is just a game character, she doesn’t even exist. Only to find out a secret that you don’t even exist and ame-chan doesn’t even care about you because you are just an imagination. Well deserved.
I'm on the "let us do bad things to this fictional character for fun" side of things and the gotcha moment seems a bit like the game just going "no u" rather than really getting back at you for tormenting her over and over. I wish there was a bit more to it, but that's probably the point on a meta level.
THE LAYERS! I really like your "theory", it may not even be the devs' intention, but it can definitely be read that way and it kinda says a bit about the people playing it too, not only Ame. It can serve as a good social commentary, to be honest. Not that the people who did every ending or reached the fucked up ones are bad people, but it calls out the bad side of human nature, after all, they "intentionally tortured ame-chan for fun or curiosity", which hits hard if you got attached to Ame and wanted her to become happy.
the worst thing about me is that internet overdose was my first ending . it was traumatizing for a clueless newbie like me . well good thing i'm now addicted to this game and have unlocked almost all the endings in like 1 day .
Internet Overdose always has a place in my heart for being so disturbing. It's comforting. The constant doorbell, the eyes that flit too and fro... The water levels rise as you feel your own mind being drowned out. Slowly watching a person die, slowly. They have it on point too, even mid-crisis people can act suspiciously normal. Wanting curry... Thinking about life, while internally their emotions flood and burst at the seams. Only when you step back and look at how she talks do you realize the undertones, as our vision clouds in moments of distress. All you need is one misplaced step... And your spiral won't be pretty. I wish it was, with these funny filters of rainbows and colors.
@Batdark Reading the secret txt on ending 0 reveals that P-chan doesn't exist and is someone she made up, this means that the entire time she was talking to herself including the times you get the option to tell her to off herself. Sadder when you remember all the times she mentions having no friends or anything she feels joy for other than [you] or the when she starts doubting reality and asks you for reassurance. Also probably means anytime you choose to "go to bed" she's actually just pleasuring herself alone.
@@nider8682 I wouldn't say that, if P-chan is her inner thoughts and the parts of herself she may not want to confront, the cucked ending is just her running from herself by throwing herself into a relationship, which isn't exactly a good coping mechanism
ok so the "there are no angel ending" remind me of one of streamer in japan name something i forgot someone said someone in her livestream say that if she jump out of the building she will be a legend... than she livestream herself jump out of the building and in the chat alot of people seem to dont stop her from jumping alot of them just cheer her to jump it end up her jump out of the building the camera dont see her body though it pretty tragic cause she was still pretty young :ok this might be very out of topic so im enough here edit:yep it was rorochan i talk about thx for the comments
When I saw this ending, I immediate thought of Rorochan. The homage is too great. People comparing this scene to DDLC don't understand how on point this ending was. It gave me chills and flashbacks to her last stream. RIP Rorochan.
The poem is really lit btw, like i write poems myself and i was impressed by the amount of darkness she managed to contain in a few verses. Writing about dark and grim stuff is really hard, it often ends up feeling cringy, fake or emo, takes skill to properly convey the despair
So This game is about mental illness and the impossibility of finding true happiness while clinging to coping mechanisms and empty stimuli. Ame is desperately trying to find "happiness" but doesn't actually know what she wants or what is going to work for her. Relying on the internet to make her life feel meaningful doesn't seem to hold up in the long term, a normal life is too boring, the overdosing on drugs or "love" leads to self destruction, and so on. We kind of see how a healthy lifestyle where she takes care of herself without relying on "p-chan" seems to work, and overall it makes sense. The obvious takeaway here is to not "Overdose" the over reliance on one thing won't allow the chance to live a fulfilling life, and besides that the slip off to insanity is easy. (Little thing I'd like to note is how Ame apparently has an actual family that she cares about and that visiting her parents is a positive. Makes me wonder more about them.) Or that's what i got from it. It does make a statement, and it's got layers but I'd agree with the short game/multiple ending structure holding back at least some of this from really sticking. Because it's pulling inspiration from real life events and people, it's easy to just play on a surface level and see that satire and criticism of streamers on the internet, and walk out not sorting through the rest.
Thank you for compiling the endings. I would like to add a few notes: There are alternate versions of both Needy Girl Overdose and Utopian Parody. If you answer all the questions correctly for the former, she’ll take P-chan to bed. For the latter, you must trigger the venting event on day 15, I believe you need at least 60 for both affection and mental darkness. Once the thirtieth day starts, she will ask you a few questions, and if answered correctly, she will not block you in the ending.
i just heard one song and was like "alright i wanna know more about this game." AND OH BOY... as a person who had unrestricted internet when i was 8, this shit hits home. the internet always made me so happy, but caused me so much trauma too, i think. i always searched for validation everywhere (except the internet for some reason) and its the last place that someone searches. her just looking for compliments, validation everywhere and failing is why she ended up being a streamer. (i think) just like how i do it, she "transforms" into someone else and gets compliments that way, why be your unlikeable self when you can put on a show and get empty compliments? the fact that she just keeps going after like a mental breakdown is probably the best/worst part. the farewell stream hits home, since everything has just failed. doesnt matter how many people beg, she chooses her own fate. she just hides everything or tries to ignore them with pills or drugs and stuff, still tried to keep going after it all. p-chan is probably an imaginary friend of hers, or maybe not a friend. a personification of a part of her? that side doesnt really know how to respond or it always acts different. "theres a side of mine that i havent met yet" she says something like that i mean its just a theory *dont.* since i had friends who werent mentally good and kinda took me down with them a little bit, this game feels like an open book infront of you but you have a headache and you need to sleep. you can understand sone parts easily but other parts are just ??????? thats how i see it, i have only seen the endings.
Internet overdose was the first ending I got and man was it creepy. But it was also super fun, and after unlocking that and a few other crazy endings everything else just seemed anticlimactic. I didn’t like save 0 for a few reasons. I felt no sense of accomplishment because I didn’t do anything, I was left staring at an empty chair, and the game wouldn’t even let me read the secret text at the end. Even though I get the message, that route sucked for me. It didn’t help that I spent a long time trying to unlock the extremely frustrating blazing hell ending beforehand. I guess I expected a more satisfying true ending after everything I went through to unlock it. To me, happy end world is the best canon ending.
It may be true. It is sId, that you dont need to unlock Happy End World to reach file 0. Even in the game it is said "you got unknown ending". It is like an ending existing out of this streamer's hell. Also for thus ending you need to do something with your real pc - turn off the net. I'm assuming File 0 is the 'true ending' for the game, and happy end world is true happy ending for Ame
> and the game wouldn’t even let me read the secret text at the end The bruhiest of all moments, lol. All you needed to do is to close that window, since Ame is no longer there, and you can read the secret, though it is kinda obvious.
I had no idea what I was doing, but I ended up achieving the speed run ending i guess with under 5k subscribers day 10, and she left me because she found me boring 💀💀💀
I'm not too deep in this game to understand what the devs are trying to say with it, but from a place of depression it kinda seems like no matter what you do it's still fucked anyway, and even the "good" outcomes are somehow bad endings (boring life, unsatisfied etc). We do live in sauce.
I think the message (or one of the many messages) is to avoid the "Internet overdose" Which happens to a lot of people who are not even close to be considered "popular" yet the internet is pretty much their entire life and world, it doesn't even necessarily have to be a streamer or influencer, it can be anybody really which may be the reason why this game is so relatable to most people to some extend, even if most people are not popular streamers it still can be relatable.
Ah but also speaking from a place of depression, it's also one of hope. The game isn't some obnoxious, tone-deaf moral crusade like in mainstream media (looking at you "13 Reasons Why")... or a completely negative view of the life either It's a struggle piece... almost as if to say... yeah you are surrounded by darkness... we all are... but I'll walk with it beside you as your friend P-Chan :)
I had a few laughs in this game, but hearing her speeches on the subscriber specials whilst knowing the truth of it all really puts a lump at my throat. Despite being a bit of a self-centered, snotty, proverbial basement dweller, she really did get a kick in making her audience happy.
Bro finish this game all by yourself without knowing how endings will gonna end is a pure PAIN even more hurt than watching people finish the game Especially INTERNET OVERDOSE ending, just imagine how much depressing I got after I got the ending Day 1, Ame slightly feel not so well Day 2, Ame become emotion unstable and depressed Day 3, Ame became out of control, her pressure reached the max and she try to self harm and having TON OF medicines just to decrease her emotional pain Day 4, Ame completely crazy (Ame personalities destroyed too) Day 5, Ame suicided I feel so bad for Ame and those who got cyberbullying just because they do something some people dont like when it was not even objectively wrong. And everytime i think about how cyberbullying can simply destroy people in a such a short time, I got so much depressed, especially someone you care about got cyberbullying, imagine how much pain it is. (sorry for bad English)
It really sucks when a game has tons of endings but barely anything changes in game as you pursue those endings, which this is one of those games. Love this game, but I'm not doing that, and thank you for uploading this
Ame is weirdly scarily relatable i mean shouldn't surprise me condsidering i am a mentally ill girl but it rlly does make sense her action if i were to ever just straight go off the deep end and have no one to correct me again to remain sane like it genuinely does make sense to me what she does its bad but understandable but still dramatized obv but yeah kinda scares me how i will act if i ever just go apeshit lmao
Basicly you jump in with "I can fix her" attitude. Then you later come to realization that so call "perfect happy ending" doesn't exist. Just do your best really~
30:22 the scrambled text is put through a cipher, the title of the video is "Welcome to the Internet Angel's Stream!", and the end card says "Now, she is truly happy."
She doesn't cheat on anyone tho, the secret ending just shows that p-chan was nothing more than a coping mechanism to satisfy her needyness, but she's not ready for a real relationship. (As she discovers in the ending where she "cheats")
@@TheRealestEric P-chan isn't real from the start of the game We literally playing the game from her own eyes We are playing her That why when she overdose on drugs we get blurry vision because we are her We are her coping mechanism But the cuck ending is bad because she literally not healing herself and throwing herself in actual relationship meaning she will only hurt herself even more She need therapy to deal with alot of things first before opening up the door for the world or she will just go crazy
@@prokiller1509 I feel like people are getting too caught up in the lore of the game to realize or remember that P-chan is still you and feeling sorry for her or etc feelings are not automatically nulled because of all that.
I feel bad for such people... And those who have to handle them It's scary how often it is seen in real life. I know people, mostly girls, who are never at peace with themselves, jump from one thing to another, claim to want help but push it away and blame you when you didn't deliver, claim to be worthless and weak but simultaneously act like they are the important person in the world. The worst part? They won't let you help them and they don't know how to help themselves...
This... Is literally my ex gf. She used to be like that. She wanted help, but won't let me help her and blamed me everytime i didn't delivered the help she wanted, because I didn't know how to help her, because SHE didn't know how to help HERSELF. On my attempt to help her, she only dragged me down onto her pit. I ended up with therapy and in the hospital for terrible headaches i had due to the stress she caused to me. And that gave me a lesson: You cannot fix people. You have to let them to make amends with theyselves.
@@OTHRRSIDE this is my girlfriend too. Your ex seems to have the same issue my current girl has, probably BPD or some mental bullshit like that. I'm patient and I'm willing to help her help herself. But if I find out that she's a lost cause that doesn't want to help herself then I'll have to go, can't let her take me down too. My comment is half a year old. And two months later I met a girl like that that I began to date... Huh... I can't really remember who I was talking about then, maybe because I've known too many people like that already and have gotten used to it.
I had to refund the game because it reminded me of my 10 month long relationship with a guy who I put so much effort into trying to help, but all that happened was I gained new trauma, and anxiety whenever I feel like I’m back on my phone, frantically trying to convince him not to kill himself. I was 14, man.
I got Happy End World after managing her affection level and visiting the parents house which increases the affection meter by 20 and uninstalled the game after that.
The thing about the Save 0 ending is that it revolves around the confusing dilemma that either Ame is human, or an in-game AI. Up until you get the Save 0 ending, you control everything she does, which also involves the mental tormenting, all while Ame abides to every command, like an AI. However, upon entering save 0, Ame’s AI makes a ‘breakthrough’(?), and beats the game within a single month, all while telling the player about herself, including the part where she says something about a ‘part of me that I want to explore more’. The other part is that during the entire Save 0 ending sequence, she never pins the blame on the player. So in the end, the true ending simulates what can possibly an AI’s breakthrough.
I kinda regret wathcing this at the verge of falling asleep. Not only will it be stuck in my memory forever now, it also made the endings feel so unreal.
Blazing hell is honestly kind of funny and fourth-wall-breaking. Gives the impression that maybe Ame knows what's going on here and is playing along with it just like us
it's like this. best girl ame was in crippling depression that she made herself a new personality called p-chan. from save0 file you figure out that p-chan actually stands for PC [her own pc] while her replies are from her phone. you might really feel like she's always finding a bad ending for you , but realise that you yourself are ame in the game. that's what save0 tries to make you figure out. the secret txt file from the save0 on day 30 will show that she's gone and said goodbye. making you realise that it's YOUR pc, hence the realisation dawns that you are ame all along. yes, ame was always a loner, with crippling mental health issues , yes . we were trying to make her cope for the most part, no offense. but this is what comes to show that some endings are darker than they seem and some are actually fine. you might be asking about [un]happy ending now, how does she block herself? It's a simple answer . It's to show she doesn't need that side of herself anymore . internet overdose explains what happens to her for hours and hours of seeing how terrible and miserable she becomes in time, and we can't save her. more hints would be when she takes overdoses of medication, or smokes/powder, we feel the high . Why ? because we are ame. I know , some of us stopped at a good ending. and some of us went all the way to do all endings. but in the end, we realise everything . I won't slander the people who settled on just the good ending neither the ones who went for all all for all , we loved and still love the experience of being ame for a full month, the rollercoaster of emotions we ran through, nothing could've beat that by a long shot, yet. 🙏BLESS🙏
Aside that it's nothing alike. Arguably this is even worse since she wasn't doing anything malicious to other people. She just happened to lose her shit and vomited on screen. That would most certainly lead you to be destroyed in Japan.
18:24 Dang that is so me. I wish I could just live off of my boyfriend's love forever. Just happy, just cuddly. Nothing else in life. But people gotta go to work...
the internet overdose one was tragic, I just didnt really like how it ended. I kinda wish there was a seperate ending where she just kept spiraling and spiraling, only getting up to stream until she eventually dies
Adding on to that, the Stream name is “Welcome to the Internet Angel’s Stream!” Both phrases are scrambled by a Caesarian shift with a key of 13 (meaning that A = N)
That moment you get so high you start a religion not out of any malevolence, but because you genuinely fucking believe it. That is on some DC comics, god of cocaine type shit.
I got a bug with the magic paper ending, everything stopped at one frame, it was so creepy. So I came to see if everything is right with my ending. Thanks!
Ame moves to America following new streaming opportunities, gets involved in some really bad drugs, confuses some random Russian-Chinese hacker (the player) for P-Chan and now it's your choice to try to save her from herself, or to destabilize the United States with your newfound platform.
I don't know about everyone else, but to me this game feels something like a multiple choice question with only two answer's. A: you like the game because it looks cool, or B: you hate it because it scares you.
I think so too. Like she become an ordinary, yes, but happy person who can live without addiction to "likes", "comments" ect. She can be her true *herself*. I think it's one of the "good" endings!
Kinda, yeah. I'd say that Save 0 is the true ending since she seems to be happy in the end even without P-Chan around. Basically she has matured and can now take care of herself.
@Ace Official I also think P-Chan isn't real too. I'd say that it is her coping mechanism, a perfect person that she made up in her mind. Someone who can guide her and deal with every decision so she can be happy. In the Save 0 ending, she notices how she can be sucessful without this delusion of hers. So basically, she parts ways with P-Chan, her ideal person, and goes on to achieve happiness alone. I know this is heavy on theory but damm...it's a really good ending for me.
the internet overdose ending is just so sad she was having mental breakdowns being doxxed (probably) ODing and its even more sad when P-chan js most likely just a part of her imagination theres no one there i feel so bad for ame in that ending shes just slowly descending into complete insanity worse is that this is possible in real life. so driven by validation and love but then failing miserably can lead to horrible shit happening
it's kind of funny because i did this once. i decided not to write for number or like but decide to write so because i enjoy the story i made after a whole year of dedication upload, it ends up popular 😂
First, i believe all the endings are just simulations that she's running to find the true answer. Second, p-chan which stands for player. Is either an AI, or it's kangel (Probably kangel) because of her password at the start. However, the true ending is a little bland.. It doesn't really tell us what happened to her after all the simulations. It's possible she became kangel because that's her ideal person, and eventually retired from streaming. Note: The true ending is meant to be an open ending, there is no right answer.
One big point of the game is after gaining enough fan that she starts to experience an existential crisis. Kangle is the one that being loved online, not Ame. Since Ame in real life is never loved by anyone. It really isn’t a crazy thought to think “what about if I abandon myself and be Kangel forever”. So while becoming a streamer immediately solved her financial problems, the Kangle persona is slower consuming her through the latter course of the game. The Data0 ending shows that Ame can finally move on and accepting two facts: 1. She doesn’t need a lover (in imagination or not) to push herself, she has to take full responsibility for her own decisions. 2. Realising Kangel is not Ame afterall and she still needs to crave her own life. The picture with Ame holding hands with Kangel probably means she want to coexist with Kangel. At the end of the day the drug abuse is still there and she is seemly still occasionally suffer from breakdowns. But for now at least she isn’t overdosing in terms of both drugs and internet. She is able to move on her life without hurting herself like every few days, for better or worse. It is one hell of a progress that one person is able to walk some step out of her mental issues without having any person helping her really. So at the end of the day I am really proud of Ame. Unlike most video game protagonists she’s farcry to be tough enough to save the world. Still she is able to save herself from one of the most desperate situations ever.
I know it's just a game, but the whole thing fills me with dread about trying my luck as a streamer as well, though if I do I don't intend to try and sky rocket to Uber high fame, I'd die
Love the game but i hate concept with "short game but a lot of endings" so fcking much god some of them don't work in my game without any reason. It's really annoying! Thank u for this video and ur hard work on getting ALL of the endings.
Aaaaaand maybe someone know games that similar to this? (not hello Charlotte ect i already played it). Couldn't find any but I really love the artstyle and theme:(
@@wallflower_flower Not really the same themes or art style but if you’re looking for more short games with lots of endings with replay-ability value like this one I recommend Long Live the Queen and Monster Prom!

That would still mean that she was trying to comfort herself on that ending which is bizzarely stupid. I still don't believe in that p-chan theory
Yeah I think the 0 ending IS meant to reveal that P-Chan was Ame all along... in fact it's pretty obvious all the way through the entire game when you look at it from that perspective:
1. Ame is looking at her phone, but she's actually talking to you through the computer = She's sending messages via phone to her own computer
2. All endings that attack you, only attack and break your own computer
3. The Webcam she uses is basically her own webcam talking to herself... it's not a distance stream for Ame or anything
4. When she gets affected mentally or goes on drugs... so do you
5. In Save 0, she doesn't look at her phone... she looks at herself on the computer screen and decides to take the future in her own hands
6. The Ending 0 Secret.txt is the real clue as it's left on YOUR computer...
You are Ame

I feel like this game is way more indicative of japanese e-girl streamer culture- it's not all sunshine and kittens in the west either, but western e-girl streamers CAN have a relationship or clown on toxic audience members without being completely exiled, at the very least
Love how realistic the artificial comments are.
It’s almost exactly how people would normally comment and it’s thoroughly up to date with current culture.
Only issue is how tiny they are and how hard it is to read them.
Well, stream comments are usually that small in real life too. You might just need glasses or something🤷🏾♀️
If that can ever be achieved, that is.
so you dated several Ame-chans huh man i hope they dont overdose on drugs
Totally agree, ain't no saint but I've been with a lot of toxic and troubled individual and the dialogue she has with p-chan sometimes feels so textbook its like a conversation I've had with them before, guess that's why there's a content warning. Well made game all around but got really close to home at times.
The toxic twitter behavior thing hits especially hard yeah, when you've had some of your first teenage relationships during that twitter era, things like finding out what your gf is actually doing or thinking (or even that you're now out of the picture) by looking at her private account vs what she tells you directly is stratospheric levels of cursed.
I dated someone like Ame once. It was so bad, it lasted less than a week.
I heard that the dev previously wrote a whole book detailing his personal experiences with such people

At the amusement park,
Living with p-chan is "boring" because shes actually alone
Every main interaction is through sms and for every reply you make, you can only reply through an emoji, *UNLESS* shes having a breakdown.
I'm sure alot of people who feel the same have got an imaginary friend too to cure true loneliness
You as the player is an imaginary person she created to stabilize her mental so she wouldn't truly feel alone.
Disagree. I don't think P-Chan is just her imaginary friend.

"In the chinese secret.txt file, it say "這次的培養失敗啦".

But despite everything she has thought of she pushed through and maybe became happy :) found her own success dictated by probably long noghts of thinking.

something I really like about the Internet Overdose ending is that while Kangel is of course looking like That, her chat is going on as normal. she's not actually like that on stream, but it's a perfect capture of her mental state while streaming.

I honestly want to watch this video with someone else, because I feel I'll become heavily disturbed-

Do You Love Me? is the best ending. In-game File / Cut Off Content BTW i.imgur.com/b9BRXQp.png
Didn't she commit suicide in Labor is Evil? Not so wholesome.
@@dark8118 The door ringing isn't literal and neither does the brain wave towers. She's basically schizo at that point. She might also killed pets in her house even.
The Nerdy Girl Overload ending is the prime example of "You get what you fucking deserve."

Because everything in the game IS taken from reality, just a culmination of it all together, and dramatised as a dystopian satire.
Reality is often stranger then fiction. After all, we expect reality to “make sense”
@reni but p-chan really does not exist tho, so does ame.
And the fact the chat feed is on spot. I don’t know what to say I feel like I’m actually part of the games chat feed too that’s creepy-

Nice theory. Underrated comment
I'm on the "let us do bad things to this fictional character for fun" side of things and the gotcha moment seems a bit like the game just going "no u" rather than really getting back at you for tormenting her over and over. I wish there was a bit more to it, but that's probably the point on a meta level.
The one where she smokes a fat blunt on stream
@@stillfangirlingtoday1468 i dont gonna lie,i actualy wanted to see her truly happy when i first see this game from a youtuber
the worst thing about me is that internet overdose was my first ending . it was traumatizing for a clueless newbie like me . well good thing i'm now addicted to this game and have unlocked almost all the endings in like 1 day .
With the context of the secret ending the rest of the game becomes a lot more depressing
I just gonna pretend ending 0 doesn't exist...
@@daz1543 Turns out the cuck ending may actually be one of the best ones as it implies she moved on from all that and got into proper relationship
@@nider8682 I wouldn't say that, if P-chan is her inner thoughts and the parts of herself she may not want to confront, the cucked ending is just her running from herself by throwing herself into a relationship, which isn't exactly a good coping mechanism

Rorochan I think is what you're talkin about
When I saw this ending, I immediate thought of Rorochan. The homage is too great. People comparing this scene to DDLC don't understand how on point this ending was. It gave me chills and flashbacks to her last stream. RIP Rorochan.
Other endings: 1-2 minutes long on average
Internet overdose: hold my vomit
and proceeds to write a poem…
what a world we live in
The poem is really lit btw, like i write poems myself and i was impressed by the amount of darkness she managed to contain in a few verses. Writing about dark and grim stuff is really hard, it often ends up feeling cringy, fake or emo, takes skill to properly convey the despair
So
This game is about mental illness and the impossibility of finding true happiness while clinging to coping mechanisms and empty stimuli.
Makes me wonder more about them.)
Or that's what i got from it.
True, Or it could just be about the mental damages of streaming.
Thank you for compiling the endings. I would like to add a few notes:
There are alternate versions of both Needy Girl Overdose and Utopian Parody.
(i think)
just like how i do it, she "transforms" into someone else and gets compliments that way, why be your unlikeable self when you can put on a show and get empty compliments?
the fact that she just keeps going after like a mental breakdown is probably the best/worst part.
the farewell stream hits home, since everything has just failed. doesnt matter how many people beg, she chooses her own fate.
she just hides everything or tries to ignore them with pills or drugs and stuff, still tried to keep going after it all.
p-chan is probably an imaginary friend of hers, or maybe not a friend. a personification of a part of her? that side doesnt really know how to respond or it always acts different.
"theres a side of mine that i havent met yet" she says something like that
i mean its just a theory
*dont.*
since i had friends who werent mentally good and kinda took me down with them a little bit, this game feels like an open book infront of you but you have a headache and you need to sleep. you can understand sone parts easily but other parts are just ???????
thats how i see it, i have only seen the endings.
I'm assuming File 0 is the 'true ending' for the game, and happy end world is true happy ending for Ame
> and the game wouldn’t even let me read the secret text at the end

I feel bad for such people... And those who have to handle them
It's scary how often it is seen in real life.

My comment is half a year old. And two months later I met a girl like that that I began to date... Huh...
I can't really remember who I was talking about then, maybe because I've known too many people like that already and have gotten used to it.

So in the end, the true ending simulates what can possibly an AI’s breakthrough.

it's like this. best girl ame was in crippling depression that she made herself a new personality called p-chan. from save0 file you figure out that p-chan actually stands for PC [her own pc] while her replies are from her phone.
you might really feel like she's always finding a bad ending for you , but realise that you yourself are ame in the game. that's what save0 tries to make you figure out.
the secret txt file from the save0 on day 30 will show that she's gone and said goodbye. making you realise that it's YOUR pc, hence the realisation dawns that you are ame all along.
yes, ame was always a loner, with crippling mental health issues , yes .
we were trying to make her cope for the most part, no offense.
but this is what comes to show that some endings are darker than they seem and some are actually fine.
you might be asking about [un]happy ending now, how does she block herself? It's a simple answer .
It's to show she doesn't need that side of herself anymore .
internet overdose explains what happens to her for hours and hours of seeing how terrible and miserable she becomes in time, and we can't save her.
more hints would be
when she takes overdoses of medication, or smokes/powder, we feel the high . Why ? because we are ame.

but in the end, we realise everything .
I won't slander the people who settled on just the good ending

Though compares to the other 2 game that famous from breaking 4th wall. This one make sense.
the internet overdose one was tragic, I just didnt really like how it ended. I kinda wish there was a seperate ending where she just kept spiraling and spiraling, only getting up to stream until she eventually dies
I hope we get some more good and/or twisted endings on the next content update at the end of this month.
The Rainbow Girl ending gave me PTSD...
A certain Literature Club President...
In 30:23 I think it says "Now, she is truly happy." for anyone that is wondering what it says.
Adding on to that, the Stream name is “Welcome to the Internet Angel’s Stream!” Both phrases are scrambled by a Caesarian shift with a key of 13 (meaning that A = N)
“Kangel is a good angel who never does dangerous things!”
*not even a millisecond after*
**posts picture of her smoking*
If she ends her carrier by just saying bye, or if she ends it in a big bang. I don't find the first ending bad :D
That moment you get so high you start a religion not out of any malevolence, but because you genuinely fucking believe it.
That is on some DC comics, god of cocaine type shit.
Happy End World be like:
People are upset cuz KAngel is leaving the internet
Meanwhile the music:

“This is what vomiting once on a camera does to a mfer” lmao
I got a bug with the magic paper ending, everything stopped at one frame, it was so creepy. So I came to see if everything is right with my ending. Thanks!
Hot damn the amount of schizo in this game is palatable. The devs certainly did their research.
Its truly scary
Said the lil'Cal profile picture. That's how you know it landed.
@@ethansmom8838 Too bad there hasn't been a good Homestuck game in years.
haven't seem so much schizo in 40 minutes since browsing 4chan on Election Time.
Ame moves to America following new streaming opportunities, gets involved in some really bad drugs, confuses some random Russian-Chinese hacker (the player) for P-Chan and now it's your choice to try to save her from herself, or to destabilize the United States with your newfound platform.
the internet overdose ending really shows how much the internet can ruin your life and your mental health
rule number 1: never be fully reliant on the internet for those dopamine hits
I don't know about everyone else, but to me this game feels something like a multiple choice question with only two answer's. A: you like the game because it looks cool, or B: you hate it because it scares you.
I hate the game because I had to put this poor girl through so much shit before finally getting her a happy ending.
Its the first actually scary game I played since every other one didnt scare me so im happy to say I hate this game
ORE WA SEGGS!??||
I got that in my first playthrough thinking this was an eroge.
I got depression instead.
When i saw a thumbnail of a stream thought it was a dating sim
This game gave me plenty of "good memories just like ddlc did when it first came out
damn the “Ame not found” shit gave me a heart attack
PAIINNNNN

The puke one. I can't. Poor girl just became a meme. XD
Until it got scary-
I stand corrected. The cult leader one was the funniest. XD
"Humans can't live completely stress-free"
Sign me up for this shit
The only thing I can think of when I see the yellow superchat at 14:33 is "CHRIS! Is that a weed?" "No, this is a crayo-" "I'M CALLING THE POLICE!"
It's "MAGIC!"
Isnt the "Normie Ending" kinda a good ending too?
there's no good ending in this game i guess
yes. it was the first ending i got and the last one because i was satisified with that and stopped playing there.
glad i did.
I know this is heavy on theory but damm...it's a really good ending for me.
the internet overdose ending is just so sad she was having mental breakdowns being doxxed (probably) ODing and its even more sad when P-chan js most likely just a part of her imagination theres no one there
i feel so bad for ame in that ending shes just slowly descending into complete insanity
worse is that this is possible in real life. so driven by validation and love but then failing miserably can lead to horrible shit happening
Damn, Internet Overdose was quite the trip....
"i could fix her, but whats wrong with her is cuter"
-A steam review
2nd ending feels like an SCP end of the world scenario lol

“Maybe i should go offline too.. I’m sick of chasing after validation”
Why is this yellow egg man so relatable
it's kind of funny because i did this once. i decided not to write for number or like but decide to write so because i enjoy the story i made
after a whole year of dedication upload, it ends up popular 😂
29:51 this ending is creepy and all but the live chat is so damn hilarious i cant its too realistic
This game is actually so well made.
I know it's just a game, but the whole thing fills me with dread about trying my luck as a streamer as well, though if I do I don't intend to try and sky rocket to Uber high fame, I'd die
*See some Streamer & Vtuber steaming & gaming for 6 hours+*
How the heck can they last that long XD?
as someone who got cheated multiple times, damn this hits like truck kun
Oof
this game somehow reminds me how messed up DDLC can get
if this is real life Doctor Strange has to see all possible futures just to stop this madness
Couldn't find any but I really love the artstyle and theme:(
Aight Let me know as well if you find anything worth covering.
@@wallflower_flower Not really the same themes or art style but if you’re looking for more short games with lots of endings with replay-ability value like this one I recommend Long Live the Queen and Monster Prom!

Props for them playing the game so many times to get every ending
