No difference except a lot may already be a designated measurement of land whereas land in general may be available in variable sizes for purchase.

You said when you buy property, there is a different title if you want to sell it or not? what do you mean, if you get a title not to sell. when you die, will your children inherit the property or not with that title?
Deslinde is the particular title I'm referring to - make sure it's in order. Property is fully transferable: sale, inheritance, etc.

There ya go. Flood the area with expats. This area is slowly losing its gem status down here. Sad! Way to many RUclipsrs drilling the hell out the area.
I understand your concern but if you think RUclips is responsible for the influx of foreign investment, think again. The Dominican government is spending large amounts to promote and support tourism and foreign investment. If the government didn’t want people coming, they’d shut down the incentives which are many.
I was conflicted about sharing info for a while too. Then I realized that even without what I share, people are buying like crazy. I may be appealing to some but no way I’m responsible for all that.
Let’s just hope there are measures in place to limit the development and to protect the local people, the culture and the natural environment.
