- A mighty turn out this week, 20 players, 20 Army's, fantastic games, good people, and great times.

The people there were the best sort.
Army showcases are my favorite type of video, but especially when the narrator has such a love of the hobby and appreciation for the Heresy. 30K has the most devoted and impassioned fan base, and it shows in videos like this.

What a stunning video. Thank you dude seriosuly. It's a delight to see all those well put together armies. All of them were quite spectacular. Man, this guy underneath me. Was there a barely painted army there? Sloppy bases? I've been collecting and painting for near on 20 years, and still struggle to get the army I want on the table painted and based. A true players army is a real labour of love that takes money, time, patience and energy. volcano3493 have a word with yourself sir.

There are so many good list out there. I've done on for each tournament I've been to if you interested
Maybe give a time stamp for each army? Also, where are your beautfiul boys in blue?
I'll have a look at doing time stamps, not sure how that works but I'll give it a go.
As for my lads, I assumed you'd all be sick of them so I focused on all the other players

Just a quick note . The second imperial fist list with the Scorpius is Nathan's that took best painted. Although I'll be happy to say they are mine😂
Paranoia and Alpha Legion seem to go hand in hand.
IDK man, rolling up to an event for a narrative focused game like HH with a barely painted army seems somewhat disrespectful to my opponent. I'd want people to have a good time and part of that is giving them as immersive of a game as I can. Maybe that's just me, but stuff like this kinda irks me.
I understand, but it was a good day of gaming. And everyone was enthusiastic about Horus heresy.

Why? Praising barely painted armies or ones with very sloppy done bases is toxic positivity territory. There were obviously some which were stunning (e.g. White Scars) but the majority was a mess.
List building has merit too, and the story's behind them, and the people who play them, but I understand, and appreciate your view.
