Appreciate you showing the whole process with issues and everything and how you resolved it. Those headlights look sick man I have been debating for a while whether to get them or not but after seeing how clean your truck looks with them im ordering them at the moment. Keep up the how to videos man and great job. My truck is a 2001 GMC Sierra Extended Cab same color as yours too.
No problem at all I'm glad I could be of some assistance! The lights are probably one of my favorite things about the truck tbh, but I will do my best to keep the truck videos coming for you guys. I Love These Trucks!
Purchased from autozone in the switch isle. I'll see if I can find the old box. I just used a fresh box cutter and spun it into the plastic until it broke through the other side. I shaved off little by little until the switch went in snugly.
So the bulb you put in was a h10 and the harness was for a h11. Did that cause any issues down the road? Like did it eventually wiggle itself out or anything?
No sir. If you buy the oem fog light switch and wire it to the fog light spot on the fuse box it should work like factory. Don't quote me on that but I think I may have seen a few videos of some people doing it that way.
Great job man. You should go to your local Chevy dealer and get a job. Parts , learn to be a mechanic. They got all kinda jobs. I think you would like. I can tell you like it and you figuring things out real fast.

Probably one of the best mods you've done to the truck!
Man thanks for posting this video really helped a lot I'm installing my fogs tonight.
I'm glad I could help! I hope everything works out great for you🤟🏾
@@MuscleAddiction903 It did but I had to reorder my fog lights. They sent me some with the wrong bracket.
Oh no, well I hope they got you squared away rather quickly
Where did you get the button from and what did you use to make the hole for it ?

11:26 yeah my fog lights were wobbly too when I put them on lol
That's reassuring to hear for sure😅
what kind of red wire did u use when 22:32 showed
It was just regular red wire I picked up from autozone. Same thickness as speaker wire.

What are the things called that hold the screws in for the fog lights ?
The little clips that the screw/bolts go into?
How did u get so smooth cuts with a razor blade ???
I bought a fresh pack of box cutter blades, it was brand new sharp as f**k. I only had to use 1.
Did you connect to the fuse box or any pins inside the fuse box at the engine bay?

Did the switch come with the harness you linked in the description?
No sir, I picked it up at my local autozone
@@MuscleAddiction903 the harness and switch is all I need then correct? My fog lights already hooked on my valance
Yes sir

Is it possible to just splice the fog lights in with the low beams?
I don't see why not, I just wanted to run them on a separate fuse/relay.
Maannn I’m trying to do the same thing on my 99 but the harness wiring is the only thing I’m worried about. Great vid tho just subbed 👌
What exactly is the most worrisome part that makes you nervous. Nothing to be nervous about, gotta show those wires and harness who's boss lol
I just did mine and ordered a harness on Amazon and added a switch in the dash in the stock location. Worked great
Glad you had success installing yours!
Oh wow! The difference!🤩 looking good! #muscleaddiction
