Brian, evolution was attacked, but then it became supported by evidence and it then became more and more accepted because of the overwhelming evidence for evolution.
@Emmanuel Zane most people don't give a shit about spam, especially when there's an identical response from another fake account every time it gets posted. hope that helps.
I grew up in a rural area of Texas where everyone is Christian, and the people are as small-minded as their town. My family was a staunchly Christian conservative Latino - Black family, and largely uneducated. I started questioning at a very young age. I remember when I was about 5, I would pray to god to end hunger, make the world peaceful, etc. I wanted everyone to be happy and I wanted no one to suffer. I’d pray for the kids I always saw in those “for pennies a day” commercial me. Sometimes I’d pray so long, I’d fall asleep praying. When I’d wake up, I’d hurry and “re-pray,” for fear that not saying amen would nullify my prayer. After a couple of years of this, I started asking god why he hadn’t answered my prayers. A few years of asking why, I started really doubting and gradually stopped praying. By the time I was a teenager, I started looking into other religions, and I stopped going to church. At the age of 20, I realized I didn’t believe, and hadn’t for some time… if ever. I tried my hardest, but I never could. It’s been a over a decade, and I still haven’t come out as an atheist to my family. They know as much as they need to know, but I long ago realized that me “coming out” would be more for myself than anything else. It would be selfish. So, they know as much as they need to know (which is that I question the Bible, and all religion, and that I strive to be a good person), and nothing more. We celebrate holidays, but that’s for the family time and not the religious meaning, and they know that, too. If the benefits of not coming out outweigh the risks, you shouldn’t feel guilty about not telling your family.
Sorry Brian, but the scientist that found the "tissue"said *she expects her findings to be scrutinized* as part of the *natural* *process of finding new evidence* especially when *it changes what was our previous expectations were* . FYI; I'm fairly certain the name of the scientist in question is Mary Schwitzer.
Brian Nebraska: what he is describing isn't science, if they are biased towards any particular outcome then it's not science. He will only ever see what already consists with his existing beliefs
first caller figures her "fear" of non=acceptance by peers was relevant. But her peers DID accept it once backed up. Meanwhile, the CALLER himself does not accept her findings.
I wonder if the “healers” who claim to grow out legs could be sued for malpractice if they grew out the wrong leg. Imagine growing out a leg then finding out the longer leg is now even longer than it was before.😂
Growing out legs lol that's awesome. If these charlatan preachers were actually "healing" people, by ANYONE'S definition they'd be doing it in hospitals instead of only at their mega-churches. Education, people. Education. 😇
Science: gather evidence, then come to a conclusion. Start with “I don’t know,” then “Let’s find out.” Anti-science (religion): Start with the conclusion, then try to find evidence to support it. Start with “I know,” then “Let’s justify it.”

Michael sounded very confused but maybe a step or two above Brian . Chris is no fun he sounds normal . Chris , white lies usually do more good than harm , chill. Nick is in the swamp and still sinking or sunk . Bruno sounds like a winner and advice is worth a ponder.

Nick needs to go and study what the proper nature of evidence is. An argument as vague as the Kalam doesn’t “prove” anything, it’s merely a geeky excercise in conjecture and speculation.
Why do all these self imprisoned thumpers remind me of Munchs painting , The Scream . Yes scientists, doctors etc.. are prejudiced. Perfect example is Dr. Burzynski. All you have to do is research what the Texas state medical board did to this guy. Or you can watch the documentary Cancer is Serious Business
@Please Complete All Fields You just said it yourself as to why people, science, evolutionists, etc... will lie. " the incentives in terms of money, fame, and prestige." So please, give me an experiment to show that a "body" of water can curve. Richard Feynman "If your guess or theory doesn't agree with experimentation. It is wrong." Bill Nye " If you have a claim that cannot be tested, that is called pseudo science."
@Please Complete All Fields while we are on the subject. Can you give me a TEST to show that things indeed fall to the earth at 9.81m per sec2 from the mesosphere? That test was only done in the troposphere bud, where molecules are at its most density.
@Please Complete All Fields so what you are saying is that Galileo observing things falling in the troposphere some how equates to gravity and space??😂😂😂🖕🖕🖕
@Please Complete All Fields that was the longest reply of a whole lot of nothing. Link the test that proves objects fall at 9.81 mps^2? Oh wait, your gonna give me a test from NASA in a vacuum that is no where near the torr of spcae. Which would be psuedo. I have been to southern hemisphere bud in Cape Town. Both the nothern star and southern cross is at eye level right above the HORIZON LINE. But I am still waiting for your EXPERIMENTATION!! You could have brought up the whole RLG phenomena as well. But hey what do I know about "what is in motion, stays in motion" which the earth somehow keeps its 23.5 degree tilt. Eretosthenes experiment?? Lmao, you like measuring two points in anything is valid lmao!! Any who, ill be waiting for those links to the actuall experiments. I mean it should be easy to give us a test that a body of water does curve.

I really do feel sorry for people like Brian from Nebraska. Their level of gullibility borders on the insane.
