I’ve played Tiandi for 70+ reps and other than the guaranteed heavy from kick, I hate this “rework” It’s ruined the flow of dragon dodge and palm strike. Feels like they’ve turned my old fav into a brick
I've played him for 70 reps too, same for most of the cast. Problem I had with tiandi was his inability to be a "dodge" specialist, especially since he couldn't cancel his recoveries like orochi and zanhu after finishers. Aside from that, his rework is fine. The heavy follow up looks like shit and never should've been a guarantee to begin with. There were better ways to get damage which all lead to mixups
Exactly he doesn’t flow as well. Maybe they should keep the fast flow of the palm strike in the chain like bp with just pushing guardbreak while in a chain. Instead of dodging mid chain. Makes it feel very slow. The and the dodge forward head my god feels so awful so clunk and doesn’t seem worth using it sometimes. Because my hyper armor takes ages to activate.

Ubisoft cmon how about listening to the community instead of pulling things out the ass. I've grown skeptical of the Ubisoft devs whenever they make a rework or a new hero and I fr don't wanna be that guy but whenever it comes to the Asian heroes (other than orochi in an aspect) ya make them either a good balance or shit but when it's a viking or a knight, ya make them busted or stupid OP or actually give them a good rework. Valk actually got a good rework and in some cases I think it's a little much, but nah fuck Tiandi let's make him like musha where his hero description doesn't match with the moveset. Even Medjay for fucks sake, he is so mid and has such a basic moveset but ya make Pirate and Conq OP, yeah no Ubi, just stop.
He has incredible dodge cancel ability and the bash flows well with that, I don’t understand your beef you didn’t really explain why you think it’s bad you just kinda said you don’t like it. & I’m Not jumping down your throat, let’s discuss this! Also the shugo rework and Aramusha rework made them monsters, no idea why you think “Asian heroes” get shafted, zhanhu got a few tweaks and is top tier, as well as the shaolin rw. I don’t really see where you’re coming from with all this.

Bingo. Whole point of him was to flow like water and be a dodge specialist, yet he has horrible i-frames and now he doesn’t even flow well💀
