It's been over 50 years since I've had Cotton Candy. The memory had me smiling along with them.
They sell it in bags.
Our kids love it, adults try to deny, but everyone SMILES 🇺🇸😄
I still love cotton candy.
Straight sugar. I love cotton candy.
Lovely.
Popular at the circus, carnival, and sometimes at baseball games.
And later, sold in bags at the candy counter.
I haven't had cotton candy in 30 yrs. You kind folks make me want to go get some now.
Not one of them figured out that the stick was a handle.
Fun fact: Cotton candy was invented in1887 by William Morrison, a dentist.
Sweet. ❤
It was nice to watch them get that smile of surprise!
Aunties eyes always make me smile 😊❤️😂😘
I used to make cotton candy with my kids when they were young. It is a surprise how little amount of sugar is needed to spin it into the candy. One small spoonful made enough for each child.
Sobia: "Let me test some more..." 🤣😂 Exactly! Haven't had any in ages and now I want some! And it's not even filling LOL. Love the surprise of as soon as it gets wet, it dissolves! Cotton candy + rain do NOT work together.
😁
❤
I see we're still in fun food month. To top it off, the villagers can react to the song The Candy Man, which was a #1 hit in America sung by Sammy Davis Jr for the release of the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, which is an American Classic that has been redone on a couple of different occasions and has starred Gene Wilder, Johnny Depp and some new person in the 2023 Wonka movie.
I wish you could find a video of someone making cotton candy to show them
I'd like to see that. I've seen the big metal tubs and watched them put it on a stick but don't know how it happens
God, I haven't had cotton candy in ages! Out of curiosity I was looking up the sugar content, it's actually less than a 12oz can of soda for an entire stick the size they were eating! The sugar isn't as concentrated even though it's essentially the only ingredient other than coloring.
I remember when the popcorn truck came around, I would either buy a cherry snowcone or cotton candy
Popcorn truck?
It's time to bring on kids to try American candy.
Should have played a trick on here, let her wash a bit in water first...
