Instead of BWL, I would use Flashpoint Batman as an alternative option. He's literally a 5% group/15% solo defense buff. Many seem to sleep on that buff. Many don't realize it's a constant passive buff just for having him equipped.
Def sleeping on fp batman because if ur a good distance from your group you actually get the 15%
That is an option however I prefer having multiple stats increased rather than just defense. Defense is a subjective stat in dcuo where there isn't alot of correlation to x amount of defense = less damage taken where you can quantify the BWL statistical increases, the perma buff is its only saving grace. It's a situation where if you have Flashpoint Batman already leveled then sure 100% use that but if you had none leveled I would start with Superman & Lex
@@ObsidianChill I'm sure I've got 3/4 of the games' allies at r10. For me, the more def you get is just plain better. It is a hard stat to aquire outside of gear, especially getting an easy passive buff without doing/losing anything to obtain it. Thats what made it a no brainer for me. Buffing for health or a better power Regen is easy enough to remedy.

Lex can also be replaced by FP Batman Defense buff passive in case of need.

Yeah i run the same setup on my fire tank :) and switch out for Diana for when I pull adds as it reduces the damage they do, as it does not work bosses as the ally description says "on a successful pull."

Diana is also good for tanks in the combat slot just incase you need a couple secs to breath she takes the aggro from you
Not a fan because of how much delay there is in the taunt. You have to summon it before you think you’ll need it
@@ObsidianChill i find that when tanking the 3 boss in tswe she helps out a lot, but she also makes u lose aggro. It’s very situational for an ally.
the diana combat ability is good buttt it makes you loose agro.... if it absorbed damage away from you without loosing agro then sure tht would be a must have ally..

If you were running a battle tank armory for soloing bounties or just running them with a friend, would Queen Diana's might buff passive be viable at all or would the opportunity cost of losing superman or bwl not be worth it?
I guess FP Batman's defense buff is a possible fit too but I don't really want to level up too many niche ones lol... just trying to think of different situations.

there isn't any allies designed for healers. Closest one is just Batman Who Laughs

@@Jeefren97 there aren't really any ones you can say should be used 100% for other roles as there are different options. Only one for sure is BWL
Why wouldn’t rage or atomic take advantage of critical heals?
Have you thought about calculator bot for Fire tanks? It works pretty well with fire I do wish it was more though

if you don't want to grind for the legendary xp requirements for those allies Calculator Bot can certainly be an alternative. It works just fine for how much the ally costs

If I'm not using Nutrino Blast as Atomic, who would you recommend as the third ally? Superman isn't going to work, and I can't take advantage of 3 card procs.
There isn't any, you can pretty much pick whatever you have. Leveling up flashpoint batman for an extra bit of defense is not worth the legendary cost and won't save you from anything.

I would like them to come out with any Ally for healing. Healers need love too, but you have OP artifacts though

Nubia = Open 25 Wondrous Time Capsules. Lex = Open 25 LexCorp Exclusive Time Capsules (once done on any character you can unlock the 25 caps feat for either on any other character to get the corresponding ally also).
