Not sure if you come out to the Milwaukee area. Gonna be back over there for VolksFest and others this summer. Currently finishing up the final stereo portion of the ride. 2004 VW Passat GL Wagon. 1.8T 5-Speed. Shadow Blue with metallic flake, grey, anthracite, and black interior. Got a Orion XTR 750.4 ran to front and rear components, CT Sounds 1000.1D to a 10" CT Sounds Tropo. Creating the lid for the trunk area towards the end of the month. Next couple days im installing led fog lights which I've precut where they will be mounted. Waited on nice weather here in Wisconsin to install and get going. After that its working on cosmetics. Should be a good year.
I haven’t had the opportunity to make travel there, but would love to one day. Definitely enjoy experiencing the different car cultures from place to place. That sounds epic! I’m new to the Euro game, but definitely loving it so far! Just ordered some new wheels for the mk6 🤘
@Project Flat4 with my daughter now a teenager we started going to shows as well. I thought it would be a good idea as it's a great opportunity for her to see history and works of art in a sense. I held off until she became a teenager running a system in a vehicle until she was old enough. I've been a part of Milwaukes Area Volkswagen Club for a 2nd year now, and my daughter loves it. I'm glad to see your little one enjoying herself. Certainly a great freedom of expression whether you're a purist or a custom diy person. Thanks for sharing.
@@BigSteve_Gaming187 oh most definitely! My girls love going to car shows and track days. My youngest got to meet Richard Petty last year at ViR. My wife love VWs and she’s the reason we are getting into the Euro scene. I come from the JDM world, but have really enjoyed learning about all the history and culture that comes with Volkswagen and the other brands. Thank you for sharing your experience with me. Hope you’re subscribed, we hope to bring a lot more content from the Euro community to jdm, and everything in between!
@Project Flat4 i purchased 5th gen civics b4 my x wife purchased the VW Wagon after her 93' Acura Integra. 228k still doesn't burn oil between changes and doesn't wanna quit if yuh keep up on changes with this 1.8T. Best thing a father could ask for. 😉 Take care...
