I watch LOTS of knitting shows and yours is, by far, my absolute favorite! Blessings to you 💕 And thank you for taking the time to make these very inspirational videos!
I love all the colors you dyed! Oh my you just like casually mention playing around with natural dyes and then showcase this gorgeous assortment😍. The speckles were so even 🤌🏻
Forst I like to say that I personally like the stripet part of The blanket, but you gotta do what you wanna do 😉 And I love alle the hand dyed coulurs...especially that burnt orange 😍
I would definitely unravel the blanket with your advent and knit a shawl with it instead. That would totally fit in with your plans to be more intentional about what you knit and sew. The fact that you’re so seriously questioning and thinking about this means you’ll regret it if you carry on. At least that would be the case if it I was in you shoes. I love the yarns you’ve been dyeing. I think you have a real eye for colour. 🧶
Love all you've been up to. Boy, you keep busy. I agree with you about the blanket. If you are willing to frog it, what can it hurt to try surgery on it. Good luck with it. I do like the other colors in the blanket though. I hope you feel better soon...especially your eyesight. Take good care of yourself. ❤ I always enjoy seeing what you get into. Our hobbies are supposed to bring joy not stress. 😊
Absolutely love your hand dyed yarn! Honestly, I can’t say which color I like more, cause they’re all fabulous!! Any future plans to sell your yarn????
Wow such beautiful knits! And the yarn is gorgeous! Love the dress you made, made me make plans for some linen I have in my stash! I’m totally with you on not making plans, way too much pressure we don’t need! I’m also a multi crafter like you, I knit, sew, do pottery, crochet, abit of water painting and just recently tried some yarn dying, although that I’ll leave to you😅I was gifted a pile of yarn that I wasn’t loving so figured I didn’t have anything to loose, ended up with some very bright colours that I will use just for fun! Love your vlogs!
Thank you! Linen dress are just the best ☺️ Yes too much pressure, it’s nice to just go with the flow when it come to making! Well that’s great you were able to over dye some yarn you weren’t loving!! Happy making 😊💕☺️
I agree with the other commenters: all your hand dyed yarns are beautiful! When I see them I feel like knitting Stephen West's shawls! (Working on my first one, during your video.)
I LOVE the blanket. I think the center stripes anchor the whole peice and it's gorgeous, but you have to like it for sure. Maybe rip and make a shawl if it really bothers you. I absolutely love the colors, especially the colors in the stripe which are very warm and earthy. But I feel like a lot of the colores you like are cooler? That may be part of what isn't jiving for you.
Your hand-dyed yarn is absolutely beautiful! I have a book on natural dyeing, but haven’t tried it yet. I knit an Anthology Throw and it’s really a project worth putting the time into. I think, though, that since the centre section is very noticeable, it would be nicer in a more solid colour. You mentioned that the rest of the advent was more like your third and fourth sections - what if you kept the advent in order, but worked it in reverse so that you started with Day 24 and ended with Day 1? The circle is so much larger by the end that your current centre colour will look entirely different in the bigger circumference.
Thank you so much! Haha yes already I’ve noticed you this blanket will be a huge commitment lol That’s a great idea! I feel like the first colours would look better in the outer edge instead ☺️
I love all your hand dyed wool Karlie. Do you sell it online? Enjoyed listening to your podcast today. I'm thinking of making the stuffed bunny by Sue Anderson for my grandchild. Thank you..😊
Thanks for a lovely podcast. Those colours are gorgeous individually and there is also a lovely cohesive aesthetic. You’re a colour magician. Will be looking out for the Audrey jacket! It is so elegant. I’m already looking at yarns. How many balls of the Teddy Dear did you use?
Im afraid I am not of a great help regarding your blanket (wondering how you would knit from the outside in), but if your unsure and the striping pattern annoys you, you should go for some surgery. Otherwise it will keep you from enjoying the knitting and possibly the end result. As always, love all the things you show. Happy you can put all your creativity in your crafts! ❤
Thank you for a lovely podcast. I think you should rip the whole blanket and find a new project for the yarn. I don’t think you were happy with it from the beginning.

Awe thank you so much, that made my day 🥰💕🥰

I go back and forth between liking it and not liking it hahah
Thank you!
Hi 👋 Karlie! the bunny is so cute - Avi will love it! ❤️Also, just unravel the blanket and embrace a new project.
Thank you! She did love it 🥰
Ya, I’m leaning towards frogging and making a shawl instead ☺️

good advice on the cuffs. Some struggle with that stitch 🤔
Beautiful projects and gorgeous hand dyed yarns. Wondering if you could share your dying process.
Thank you so much! I might show some of the process in the future if I can get around to it lol ☺️
Stunning hand dyed yarns 🧶

I think I might make it into a shawl! I really do love the colours in it, including the centre ones, but just not in the circular pattern lol! ☺️
Gorgeous linen dress
Thank you!!

The Audrey jacket is out now on Ravelry! I used 4 balls but ordered 5, and used one ball of Gerard Puno for the edging ☺️🧶☺️
@@karliepaige8269 Thank you xxx
I agree with you in regards to the blanket. It will really annoy you in the future. So sorry to say that.
No it’s ok! You are right, it will annoy me in the future - it’s ok, I don’t mind frogging lol ☺️
Your colours are so beautiful are you selling some?
Thank you! I might be in the future ☺️
"Feldgrau" is actually German and means "field grey".
Oh interesting, thanks for letting me know!

I’m thinking I might frog now lol!
Thank you ❤️💕❤️

Thank you, I think that’s the route I will be going with the blanket!
