It's a Diesel Seltos , You can identify the Car is a Diesel or Petrol by Finding the Max limit of Rpm . For example your Petrol Seltos has Max Rev limit to 8000 rpm where as the Diesel Seltos has the Max Limit of 6000 rpm . You can Check in Your Verna it's rev limit is at 6000 rpm
There's a huge difference between Running Mileage and Actual Mileage of the car. Try Tank to Tank method. That will give you the actual mileage. 32 km/l mileage is fake and a joke😂
If you wanna want exact mileage firstly fill the car's tank at right movement put trip meter to zero.after 50km fill again petrol and do note how many liters consumed open calculator and do LITERS CONSUMED/TRIP KILOMETRES.By this you will get exact mileage.don't depends on instrument cluster.

Hey Sriman we keep going on lot long rides in the seltos turbo petrol .. in order to reach your destination in long drives you can't keep the speed under 70 you obviously maintain 90 - 100 in which you hardly get 15 km per litre mileage..
Next time you take it for servicing tell your service advisor about the noise, apparently kia has given a solution for the noise, they hammer down that hook slightly and its a permanent solution instead of putting that tape, i had the same issue and now i don’t
The one u see in odo is not at all the actual mileage 🤦🏻♂️.... It's just the realtime mileage...if u keep ua vehicle in higher gear and low rpm it will easily show 20 ..35... Or may be 40 as well
Turbo petrols are very sensitive, at highways it gives good mileage, again only till you drive sedate. But in city it gives very very pathetic mileage as if you are driving a 3.0l v6 petrol. If you need mileage go for Diesel, N/A petrol also gives decent mileage, Turbo petrol are not for mileage sensitive folks. A simple comparison b/w VAG 2.0 Diesel (TDI) and 1.8L Turbo petrol (TSI) Diesel on highways even if i do pedal to metal used to return 18 kmpl. With 1.8L petrol, the moment i go aggressive it drops to single digit. With 2.0 TDI, I can cover x kms with 1 liter diesel, for the same x kms i need 2 liters of petrol with 1.8 TSI.

Sir you can find out any car weather it is petrol or diesel. If rpm has max 6 which is 6000 rpm it is a diesel and if rpm meter has 8 which is 8000 rpm it is petrol.
You forgot to mention on 3rd issue of Seletos is 2* safety!! It scary that at this price point it getting 2* or 3* is something we should think. I have seen few instances where Seletos splits into two and.few other instances where it couldn't save occupants. just bringing here because many would choose this car by seeing the gimmicks inside. For a family we definitely need safety 🙏🙏
