I am watching a different category every evening. thanks so much!
Same here🖖👍
@@nd3546 grab two beers :D
These competitions are great. I'm doing the same. The 49kg was one of the best things I've seen in a while.
The call against Davies was brutal.
Makes me not want to watch the sport
This is my first time watching this sport and even I was livid at that call.
Can someone explain to me what's going on? From my total noob perspective that lift looked cleaner than plenty of the other supposedly valid ones.
@@SquareNoggin They're claiming she pressed the bar after the jerk. The bar has to go from clean to lockout in one continuous motion, Normally this would involve straightening the elbows, but here they seemed to be claiming she pressed up her right shoulder, which might be to balance the bar.
Yeah. Very strange call. It does suck for her, but I doubt she would have made 5kg more to take gold in the total silver in the clean and jerk. And only 4 more kg and she would have tied for 2nd place in total and tied for first in clean and jerk. Who knows though.
Whenever we wonder about why movements the rest of the world calls "Olympic weightlifting" is leaving the Olympic games, refer back to Sarah Davies' second lift, where no one can figure out why that lift got red lights, let alone why a jury challenge affirms those red lights.
I love this series! we all do. so thankful you guys are giving this to us with awesome commentary as well!! cheers lads.
So right. This is a pleasure and privilege to watch, with first-rate commentary!
Excellent commentary. Didn't speak just to hear themselves talk and were really knowledgeable.
Can't believe that no lift call on Sarah Davies. What more could she have done? At least she got the third and got something on the board
You should do a "What were her coaches thinking?" series. It's frustrating to see a lifter missing successive lifts that her ( or his) coaches should have known were unrealistic; especially with relatively inexperienced lifters. Obviously nobody's going to tell Loredana what she's capable of, but it's disservice to young lifters to get such bad advice.
It seemed like she should have had those lifts though. I wonder if it’s just nerves. And they only went up in weight just to give her more rest instead of following herself.
That call was horrendous
I mean, i'm all for calm but... what the fuck was that ???
Oly lifting is becoming a joke thanks to these monkeys
She did not held the final position in control... Very close indeed
@@gyorgyfilms2781 Thats what I thought like the only remote possibility the jury could have watched there, but no, they called a press out.
This is exactly why they should get rid of the press out rule altogether.
Giulia❤️
I can’t disagree. She actually is attractive, both face and body.
Damn they did Sarah Davies fuggin DIRTY
Disgusting
Thanks to present us with a so unique and amazing sport. Congrats to ALL athletes
GOOO Loredana TOMA
Loredana stay strong 💪🏻 ❤
Great session. Great narrators. Thanks for posting it entirely.
Toma is amazing
Loved watching this series over the weekend. Bloody great work and a great channel.❤
ive seen a bunch of loredana toma stuff over the years but never paid attention til now. what a savage! her, miserendino and schweitzer are legends.
Amazing job with the commentary, loving it so far!
Sarah is a consummate competitor and a great sportswoman. Such fortitude and grace under pressure!
Well done Davies ❤ even though the judges are useless.
Great session!! Thanks for posting.
Toma Loredano es súper poderosa 💪💪💪💪 e igualmente hermosa
Toma is just amazing 👏
Haven never done olympic lifts but now have a strong desire to start learning. Wish I had been introduced to this sport at 10-12 years old xD
Yes!! Me too!!! Would have loved to have learned the technique very young!
@@feliciacoffey6832 Why very young, start soon, if you are able and willing
It’s never too late to start!
@@sprint-shorts Have indeed started, at 55 years old. But there's no substitute for learning the movement patterns young.
im starting to dabble in olympic weightlifting at 32. i started going to the gym at 29 almost 30. i really wish i could've gone into weightlifting earlier since its much more important with age but i am currently working hard to win in powerlifting where age is less important. i honestly really love and admire weightlifting and being chinese myself; the role models that i see really makes me wish i could've gotten in earlier. although ive never even lived in china.
but yes. its really hard to start at later ages. i see teenagers at my gym training like idiots. getting injured and coming back but i have to take it slow because if i do get a serious injury i may not come back. i can imagine it being the same for weightlifters. i do it for fun with main focus on powerlifting. i honestly want to place on the podium in the small country of new zealand within the next few years
Thank you Seb, Max and WH team for the commentary !
These women are strong!!!!
Trentastic… seriously though they are amazing 😊
@@scottessery100 🤣🤣🤣
The way Loredana stands up from the clean is amazing. She goes through double her body weight like it's an empty bar
Thank you for sharing!!❤️
Wow, the strength and technique of these athletes is truly impressive! It's amazing to see how much weight they can lift with such ease. I can only imagine the amount of hard work and dedication that goes into their training to reach this level of performance.
Right. I’m a 104kg (230lb) male and I only snatch for hobby. I did put a little bit of time into it, but have only ever coached myself and my best snatch is about 94kg haha so I could hardly compete with these 71kg women. I did miss 98kg the other day so assuming I hit that I would do ok in the women’s 71kg
Their strength, technique and mobility are impressive.
This is a new interest for me, A look at sporting events outside of USA Boarders. Mostly young people who were born after 1995 ad ❤ thanks for this post A Voice In The Mall revisited October 2033❤
THIS IS Sport.
1:25:50 these always make me chuckle, not because of the faints but the fact that they look like they're defending a freekick 😂😂
Great channel, this sport deserves more attention.
The Tomanitooor!!!
Giulia❤️ elena🔥
SWE's Gherman Daniela Mariana is a Romanian name. I'm curious if she spoke and made friends with Toma.
thanks for this! Will you be uploading the other sessions eventually like with the worlds?
The Italian team would win 🥇 gold for the most asthenic team
England girl wins max ink award if that's a thingy thing thing
Giulia is 20!!!
Toma, a bit off, but she handled it, like a boss. Bravo Loredana!
Miserendino = amazing lifter
Thank you for the great videos. Could you please post a video from the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships, Women’s 87+ kg?
Giulia Miserendino is amazing! 😍
TOMANATOR!!!
Thank you. Still waiting for +109
Great jobs everyone
THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING, !!
FANTASTIC!!
REGARDS!
RAFAEL
Well done Lisa!
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
The lack of transparency and fairness in Olympic weightlifting is contributing to its downfall.
Sarah Davies' second lift is a perfect example of this. The athlete performed the lift correctly, but was disqualified for a reason that no one can understand. What's more, a jury challenged the decision, but it was upheld.
Hello to all my fellow men of culture
Seb, you have good psychological insight into what the athletes might be feeling.
That’s a shame for Monika, hopefully next comp she’ll do better
Well said bro ,she robbed
Beautiful
does anyone know what weightbelt the icelandic weightlifter uses? i want one!!!
Solo utilizo RUclips para ver este canal. 👏
Que cenário bem feito!
Sarah 🫵what a comeback 👏👏👏👏💪👏👏👏
I know we should give senior citizens a something to do in society after they retire but can we please get non-senile people for judging and jury?
Celia Henna and Sarah Davies were awesome 👍👍
600 reps per week at 70% of their 1 rem..... 😮😮😮This sport like many sports requires mastering specific skills which takes endless relentless work but at that amount of work load and volume with or without doping, it's definitely not sustainable for that long. The toll of doing that amount of volume even if periodic year after year definitely takes a toll physically. I guess it's why theses athletes are so superhuman..
Итальянка красавица!!!
how long before competing do the athletes weigh-in? a few hours? a day?
Strong Ladies
Giulia.....❤
Good.
1:25:00 Totally agree Davies was robbed how can they do a slomo on a push movement knowing all ur bodyparts will be inmotion , and to recover from almost fainting, what she did after was phenomenal.
Dolega stock 🚀🚀🚀
Can you guys do the male 73kg, really would like to see Mirko
great cast guys. did you guys ever figure out why she left her belt on the stage? did she forgot or worse?!?!
I'm romanian and familiar with the situation. Her coach was tossed aside by the federation, in order to be seen as "doing something" in regards to our country's suspension and numerous doping offenses during the last few years. So they're trying to cut ties with the "old guard", if you will. Whether he was guilty of anything, i don't know. This was her first competition without him, hence the "emotion". She clearly wasn't in her best shape either.
@@ioniordache8372 ok thank you for the insight. it shows she has loyalty and honor. and im glad she didnt decide to take time off or retire.
@@bakotako well no, she has the shot of a lifetime to medal in Paris.
@@Mr.Ciobanu yes i am hoping she improves her clean and jerk to above 140. it will be a battle for sure
@@bakotako she was completely off this day, just 110 snatch. She will be in the 120 mark in Paris. And as for the CJ, she can clean 150 tbh, her only weak spot is the jerk.
Seb, how do I stop the Temu backpack ads?
Brawo dla Islandki pozdrawiam...
Have the judges ever performed this sport? How can a slight shoulder movement be judged as a press-out? Why are they so ridiculously strict at times but then they'll completely ignore blatant fouls?
Good job, loredana.
when will the next videos drop?
미죠미 잘해라🎉🎉🎉🎉
팀 마블 블랙 화이팅❤❤❤
Very good coverage. Thanks
Miserendino's opening clean and jerk was textbook. Sarah Davis was robbed by the judges. They need retraining and probably an optician's appointment..
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 great lifts let go!!! I’m hype up 😎
Brawo dla Niemki pozdrawiam...
42:18 That's from a song Fizz - Daca nu Fizz atunci cine? (If not Fizz, then who?)
2:00 Why don’t they let countries send up to say three in each category and have heats and semifinals before the finals so we can still have the cream of the world crop in the finals similar to how track and field sports do it?
So why did Toma leave her equipment on the platform?
It used to be that lifters do it to show they are retiring, but i've read that she did it in solidatiry with her coach who is being blamed for the doping in romania
@@Brendon366 well it looks like she is still doping.
@@Brendon366 Its silly, when they all do it. But only some of them get punished.

Poor woman. And she works so hard!
It's due to bad judges amongst other things, that weightlifting is being dropped from the Olympics. Bad, Bad judging.
As a gentleman of culture...Sum damn fine looking and impressive ladies here...,❤...
1:13:30 Wow.
ما خيلي خوشحاليم كه شمارا تماشا ميكنيم براي شما ارزوب موفقيت ميكنم
👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Isn't this Toma's way to do the Jerk, it doesn't seem like a mistake but her technique.
Лоредана топчик
I really wanted to see Womens 176 kg group :-(
What was the problem with Davis trying 126 kg???
Wait. So how come Israel was at the European Championship? Was it like an invitational thing?
miserendino is based
мне показалось, что британку Сару пожалели... не было фиксации веса.
1:30:00 what the fuck was that press out call for Sarah Davies? The judges most certainly don't need their screens with slowmo replay, because I think they are legally blind. If anything her left should wobbled a bit but not the right they circled. If this was a lift deciding over gold medal and the jury would have overturned and gave it good. Nobody could argue them to be wrong.
all of them are gorgeous, never thinking that lifter actually so hot.
Absolutely wrong call on Davies' second clean and jerk. Ridiculous
Que pedo con el equipo de italia man son todos super facheros WTFF xd
Giulia ❤🇮🇹
