I'm korean. In korea, IU is the most popular female artist. I'm not a IU's fan but I know her all songs. She is a legend in the Korean music industry. If you don't know her songs, it's like you don't know Korean music.
IU is one of my most favorite solo Idols because she makes me feel so empowered because of her amazing confidence and powerful aura she lets out while performing . Everything about her screams Queen , she's such a respectful and strong role model for me . Many people say they feel intimidated by her because she always has this dominant look to her , but it's part of who she is , it's part of what makes her the queen she is , it's part of her that makes her so special , it's what makes her IU . She gave me the confidence to come over so many obstacles and I feel proud to say I'm her fan .

Many still think such of IU which is quite sad, this video is just the tip of the iceberg of her singing career, she had suffered a lot in her early days from a company on the verge of bankruptcy to one of the biggest company in korea, she was not only hated but was witch hunted, boycotted at one time too due to false rumors and allegations, she pushed her limits to work, took initiatives for herself and to get into variety shows and radio shows to make her regular and be known publicly, it was after good day her life changed she became a hot topic and huge sensation as a teenager but she didn't stop after it and worked even more hard ,learned more on various things and soon within 3/4 years of her debut started to take creative control of her works until now she's in full control for herself and her agency never stopped her, all the problems, hardships she went through has made her more mature and grow a lot for her age, if you see her lyrics and talks you can find such a depth in her words and thinking which we can't help but admire and be inspired. Despite all the records and history she has created can never be compared and is unparalleled in korean music industry, she has already been legendary and still thriving. She is one of the most genuine artist I have ever known, is the leader and glue that has made her team stick and flourish over a decade along with her, is very socially responsible and a donation angel. Can't help but l9ve and respect her a lot forever

Been a fan (Uaena) since 2010! Love the evolution of her music and acting! As soon as I saw Only I Didn't Know, I thought of Dream High which also came out in 2011. That was my first KDrama. IU is so wonderful as a musician and actress
