I love to listen to this guy anytime, anyday. If we are in a proper sane country with our large population of Youth, Dr. bosun should be vying for Prime Minister or President.

Nigeria must stop wasting limited resources on university education and prioritise free education at primary, secondary and technical education. Nigeria's public universities have now become a den of crime and public waste, producing an unemployable graduate that offers the country nothing. I would rather provide secondary school graduates with data access to internet-free universities.

How you mean Nigeria public universities have become a den for crime and public waste?

No, it's the turn of Yorubas. Everything is about them now from all indications. Which, if you have noticed they have been doing a campaign of hatred against igbos for no reason whatsoever. And have made it clear they don't want igbos in their so called Yoruba land.
So, if you are saying you want to put hands together and build Nigeria. The Yorubas don't want you. So it's best you dey your dey.

Data in Nigeria is the cheapest 😮😮, I guess this is a standard against economies that do not have 30k as minimum wage. Else that is a joke.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves in adopting technology. We don't need Artificial Intelligence in Nigeria, without implementing common human intelligence . No technology adoption can thrive without basic human governance. Let's not insult out minds please.

@@sholaekanWeak comprehension. Read his comment again. He is talking about having guardrails against the negative possibilities of technological advancement.
Elon Musk's AI tool, in its inaugural public presentation, was telling the world how to make cocaine at home instead of answering the question asked. That is one of the dangers of not having structures and guardrails to warehouse or mitigate against risks that new technologies pose.

If our education is this backward there's no way we can improve or AI. We have to come down and improve the primary and secondary schools first then progress to universities and other technical schools. We can't start improvement from above when there is no basic improvement in primary education sorry. Education is the root of growth everywhere

Did you know that students in University of Lagos now register attendance with finger print.

Are the private schools in Nigeria also backward? A Governor of a particular state asked the commissioner of education of the state in which he (the Governor) resides : " How many public primary schools are in my state?" The commissioner replied , " Your excellency , I don't know....."
Again , the CEO of GTB bank was asked , " why does GTB bank have strict rules when it comes to giving out loans to small businesses?" The CEO replied, " My bank is not the issue here..nor the loan for that matter. The fundamental problem is Nigeria lacks database in which any potential customer's credit ratings can easily be verified?"
....Saying Nigeria is not ready for technology is like saying Nigeria should never repair her bad roads located in slum districts, after all, most who reside in such places are chiefly prostitutes and petty- thieves.

@@sholaekan How does registering attendance with finger print translate to prosperity? What good is that if after graduating there is no job? You are not looking at the big picture. When you fail to see that, you miss their stealing. WHAT HAS THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT EVER CLAIMED TO INVEST IN THAT THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE CAN SEE? They will share the investment fund among themselves. Would AI reduce the traffic problem in Nigeria? If AI suggests a solution, would the government implement? Does life begin and end with technology? Can you all not see that when we had less technology the world was better. The rapid iteration of technology has led to the high cost of production.

@@sholaekanso is that how you measure improvement finger print wake up. check primary and secondary schools in the west and China including india that is where it all starts. We are talking of AI when we cannot operate a computer. How many people in Nigeria have computer at home or Internet? The minister should encourage schools to take math and sciences as a priority
