I followed Bowen to snl from his podcast with Matt Rogers, it’s called “las culturistas” and they do a show called “I don’t think so honey” where they have comedians go off for a minute about culture and it is SO FUNNY. it’s a lot of yelling but they are great

The only thing I really really wanted to be (and I still do tbh) ever since I was a kid was becoming an actress but I gave up when my parents told me that I would never succeed bc they dont want Asians in the entertainment industry (I grew up in Europe). So seeing so many different Asian representations nowdays in this industry warms my freaking heart 😭

I love his first name, it’s different and I just saw him how’s the icebergs that Sank the titanic skit on snl....In keeping with what we know is a very great a very great tragedy this definitely is April 14-15 is a sad day in history..... but If we can cut away with the real intent here which we know as snl and its history of comedy and just go with that for a few minutes I think this iceberg skit as well as other works of art created by the writers and performed by the artists can truely be appreciated. Touch of brilliance to whomever designed the iceberg hat , Bob Mackie with his Gone with the wind ....window covering would be proud

@@mareezy - NYU had become more known in the last decade (or two) for buying up property in the west village and lower Manhattan than they are for churning out amazing students.... Not that the latter doesn’t also happen 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️
It’s not just lower Manhattan. It’s also wherever NYU has a campus whether that’s London, Paris, Madrid etc. Also the number of perks handed out to tenured professors in real estate is enormous, especially considering the amount students pay to attend NYU. All this is without mentioning the pressures on the real estate market all this lends itself to. Brooklyn is the perfect example of this. You have to remember that NYU is supposed to be a nonprofit organisation (whatever that means).
Look for SNL and titanic iceberg, he is sooooo hilarious, I have watched it like 6 times!

Because NYU owns and buys alot of real estate
@Buenomars NYU is less of a "campus" and basically a collection of buildings / apartment complexes in which it owns. Given the chaotic nature of NYC real estate, to have this kind of stronghold in various neighborhoods gives NYU a lot of power.
