Absolutely pathetic that they are closing this. Well used and no homes even in close proximity. I guess the clowns at Calgary City Hall listen closer to the few complainers than the many players. So lame.
In the making of this film, I never heard any logical reason why it should or could not not be extended. So, let's stay positive and continue to advocate for the course and assume people at the city are swamped with work as usual and that the extension is going to be announced at or very near the deadline. 🙏🌞👍
During the pandemic, Glenmore and five other courses were installed temporarily to offer safe outdoor activities. Now that the end date for the agreement has been reached, and the pandemic is (apparently) finished as well - the course is no longer needed. This would make one curious if the other five are soon to follow - and if not, why only Glenmore?
