I've got an 04 Navigator, so same size as yours. I've done a lot of analyzing with an rta in my vehicle and I've found that with a sub in the rear and listening in the front, there's a big roll off above 45hz. Which is right at the vehicles resonate frequency. You get a natural boost around 43-45 hz.
Sealed sub boxes are known to roll off under 40-45 hz. What you end up with is a peaky frequency response. A lot of output between 40-45, but thats about it.
If you want to take your system to the next level, you should consider a ported enclosure that is tuned low. If tuned between 27 and 30 hz you'll get a much wider bandwidth which will sound better and give you a strong low-end rumble. Your sealed box looks pretty big, I'm wondering if you could get a couple of 4-inch ports from Parts Express and install them in that box. It's something to think about. 👍
If you want it Louder your box needs to be ported Preferably a T line box that way you can run less power to Power the subs and it will sound louder. I'm all about a budget build and if your trunk width is 48 I have some box designs that will have you Slappin HARD
11:00 and 12:28 In the bottom left and right of the rear window glass area your supposed to have rubber bumpers. Both yours are missing. You've got empty holes.
Go to the salvage yard and find some replacements. These are important to have because it stops your rear window glass from rattling and getting stressed. 👍

Just get a subwoofer that don't require a large subwoofer box. Try a 15" NVX in a sealed box. My dad has one and it's loud.
