    Hannah - I so appreciate you mentioning to people to flush the toilet on the plane, lol! That - AND please close the door after using it. People should know the lighted green sign in the walkway means that toilet is available. Love your videos!

    Great vlog, Hannah. I can relate to what you said about making connections because i fly through Dallas a lot, and one time i had to run to make a connection. Ever since then, i now make sure that i give myself 45 minutes or an hour to make a connection.

    Yes, Hannah, CLT probably is 90% connections and 10% O/D. For last flights of day, I can see holding flights. But, as you say there are lots of fingers in that decision pie. However, if that type of thing happens enough, there is the potential for pax to avoid CLT as a connecting point. By the same token though, if ATL has the same situation, the same potential avoidance could happen. One difference is there is more O/D traffic at ATL. It was a great video. Was in DEN myself this week for 2 days. Herman

    CLT is definitely a crazy tight airport. Travelers should definitely be prepared for delays, crowded eateries and gate changes. What's up with all the gate changes Charlotte? With regards to Arizona and daylight savings time the state as a whole does not observe the time change. Another great vlog Hannah. Still love your sign off, so cute the way you do the bye....

    • @hannahsims3799
      @hannahsims3799  6 месяцев назад +1

      Charlotte has a lot of gate changes bc they put more flights through there than the airport can handle. It wasn’t built for that amount of traffic. So a lot of times when you land there the gate you are supposed to be going to is occupied so they have to find a new gate. Hence all the gate changes. That’s why the app is so helpful. You can see if your plane has arrived yet or not. If it has arrived at the gate then that information won’t likely change. There are few instances when it would, but that’s too much to get into in this message 😂

    American Airlines makes all their connections too tight. Chicago, Phoenix, and Dallas gives you 45 minuets tops.I wanted to fly American to Vegas, but the layovers were too tight. I had to head to Chicago by bus to have a direct flight. Most likely never again. Delta gives you at least an hour for connection time Minneapolis, and Atlanta. Never missed a flight. I would have used Southwest with direct flights, but no more since all they have is Boeing plans. Would rather have an Airbus flying Delta with a layover then ever fly again on a Boeing plane.

    • @hannahsims3799
      @hannahsims3799  6 месяцев назад +1

      Interesting. I haven’t noticed the tight connections at our other bases, but I’ll have to start looking at those. When I first started if you booked through the actual airlines website they would give you 1.5 hours between each flight, but over the years it’s gotten shorter and shorter.

    • @hannahsims3799

      Our transatlantic flights we have more crew members. So we all perform the meal/beverage services and then in between those services we take turns getting a break. One half of the crew will go on break and the other will continue to monitor the passengers and then we switch.
      Production went great!
