She sang in Mandarin (mashed up 3 Chinese songs) in this show and she just learned it for just 2 weeks or so but she was also amazing there. All her performances in this show are really good!

Hey Dani, your reaction is ALWAYS ON POINT AND FUN! Very happy that you’ve finally reacted and are enjoying KZ’s performances! 😍
She was briefly my voice student back in the day (during summer breaks from music school), and I can tell you that she’s a very special and gifted artist even during her younger days. She started like the rest of us Filipinos (LOL) singing heavy high ballads (Whitney etc) - I remembered puberty stated to hit her that time and her voice was starting to turn Alto and belting was taking toll, it was frustrating but a fact of life that one had to come to terms with and navigate. KZ being KZ is a force of nature herself and incredibly gifted/talented. She came about and embraced her vocals - and what beautiful and unique vocal timbre and abilities. Plus she can rap! Gaahhh! 😄😄😄
I’d recommend for you to watch all her performances in this Chinese vocal competition (the Singer) - they are all fantastic and moving performances!
She also had a live radio performance in London at BCC radio, where she performed her original song “Nag-iisa na naman” which literally means “alone again”.
And ohhh.. don’t forget to watch her audition in X FACTOR Philippines - it was astounding and she took that show by storm.

Just found your channel because it was a RUclips recommendation as I am a KZ fan so naturally I watched all of your reactions of KZ. I'm actually 62 and discovered KZ just a couple of years ago when, like you, I heard her version of Rolling in the Deep. That same day, I played that video over and over and could never get enough of KZ. Her talent is truly God given and no matter what song she sings, she always makes it her own even if she just hears the song for the first time.
Do react to her other songs in singer 2018 and also her performances in the wish bus. For me, they were all outstanding and worth the experience. For me, her Chinese rendition of "The Hurts You Never Knew" was more emotional than Say Something even though I couldn't understand the words.

The intro to this song was KZ's idea to incorporate a traditional Chinese tribal folk music , so the audience can relate. It definitely worked, and she only had 4 days to arrange everything to the song. Her rendition of Say Something on this show The Singer 2018 is a must see.

speaking of Scatting, that's one of KZ's other trademark...You must react to her and Jaya's rendition of "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone, also done by Michael Buble'....You know who Jaya is right???? well these two colab with this song and scatting and just blew my mind...and my favorite of her performance was, "Say Something" by Great Big World & Christina Aguilera...I'm sorry, but her version was the best I've ever heard, gives you chills, tears in your eyes and the vocals are PERFECT....

Great reaction! I don’t have an original song to request by KZ, but I will ask you to please try “close to you”, where she imitates a trumpet halfway through the performance. So good!
She has originals mostly in Tagalog and after her first movie, she was given her 11:59" for International release. She has her Quicksand and I Am Afraid which are originals in English.
