I absolutely love Spyglass!! Top 5 course I have ever played and arguably one of the most difficult as well. Rating is a 75.1 and the par 4s at the AT&T are amongst the highest scoring average for a PGA tour event outside the majors.
The OG crew! You guys remind me of me and my boys when we play. Well, sort of, we don't shoot the same scores and there is a bit more booze flowing..... This course looks like heaven!
24:38 coach that shot was amazing... i don't think some people understand or appreciate the art of that shot. Amazing coach and another great one from Golfholics!!
Just this intro is bringing back so many good memories of being at Spyglass when the course opened up after the quarantine. By far, my favorite course I've ever played at
You know how I know your channel is the Shitz! I watch the entire vid even when there are no BLONDES playing!!!! Keep cranking out the vids fellas..... you are the Best Channel for me ( a guy who graduated from Claremont High in the early 80’s and been ranching in So TX for the last 25yrs). I miss SD and appreciate your vids for the sentimental affect! 👍
Ok I saw your first video and I made a plan with my best friend to meet there. We each live about 4 hours from there and haven’t seen each other in 5 years. We ended up getting the 8am first tee time on March 17 (or so). Anyways they shut down right after that. That course is just unreal. It was cool and grey and there was no wind. No one else was behind us and we each broke 90 from the blues. It was a freaking dream. Watch out, the seagulls swiped our sandwiches on the 2nd hole! $30 down the tube right there! Ha ha. I’m heading back ASAP. Just awesome experience.
Played Spanish Bay and Poppy last year and loved both courses. Next time will have to play here and Pebble! Wish I would have discovered this game years ago! So many beautiful courses, and I just want to play them all 😂. I can also appreciate the hard work you guys put in making these videos, It’s not easy!
Great video. One of my favorites. Extremely tough course, especially from the back tees. The 4th hole has one of the most unique greens I have ever seen. You guys should get out to Blackhorse/ Bayonet and Poppy right there.
i remember when i played on the monterey peninsula spyglass was the best of the resort courses. sure pebble is special cuz of its ocean views and history and conditions... but spyglass has the superior championship layout. most of the locals seemed to agree as well
Played Spyglass a week before the US Am was there in 2018. Rough was at calf level. Needless to say I was ecstatic with my 83. Great video from a tremendous track as usual guys!
Fabulous just fabulous. When it said it was 7000 yards I thought this ain't gonna be easy. It was all these little 3rd shots that was giving you guys the + numbers.
Is #3 at Spyglass similar to #3 at Torrey Pines? The footage at Spyglass reminded me of a TP hole. Like I ever watch any of your content ;) . Have a great time in Monterey!!
Hi guys you all have pretty good swings especially Brian, can you please tell me what your individual h/caps are, my golfing community here down under would love to know, cheers Mark Aussie
First and foremost I appreciate the video and the effort to make these while you golf. I try and film one hole and quit doing it because it’s distraction to my game. For me I would rather just golf with my friends. So again, thank you for what you do. If I can make 1 request and that would be kill the music while you golf. I get your music is relatively soft and relaxing but I would rather just listen to the ambience of the ocean, the wildlife and feel like I am there with you guys. You mentioned all the things I just stated on the first hole and then you take that away by applying music to your video. Thanks again for whaat you do and know I always enjoy a morning coffee watching you guy’s play a round.
Another great video by the Golfholics crew. Love the matches between Brian & JC and Mike & Marco. I am forever rooting for Brian & JC (sorry M & M ) Mike, this is a question for you. I have noticed for the last couple of months or so that on a lot of your shots, you fall back on your follow through. Gary Player would always step forward after his shot. You on the other hand seem to be doing the opposite. Is this intentional and if so, what is the reason behind it? Thanks. I have followed your channel since the beginning. Love your videos . Thanks for sharing and for all you do.
If the golf RUclipsrs had awards, Coach’s flop shot + conversion on 8 would definitely win up-and-down of the year. Amazing.
One of our all time favorite courses. We got our butts kicked but loved it! Who has played Spyglass??
Multiple times and always a challenge. Guests don't believe me that this course is harder than Pebble!
Its a beast...views aren't quite Pebble but the golf is head and shoulders better imo...
...bucketlist one for me 😁
@@patrickjordan3769 oh for sure! 75.1 rating
On my old Commodore Amiga 😂😂😂
Nice to actually see the first three holes. When I was there, we were hitting blind because of fog.
Thanks again Golfholics for a fantastic vid . Some tough holes guys . Norm.
Legend has it coach is still cleaning his grooves
Thanks so much for accurate position analysis and tools to help show where the balls are, this is what makes golf course vlogs next level!

Love the song @ 12:40 it wouldn't be a GH vid without it! Course looks incredible! Great video as always fellas. Excited for part 2! 💪
💯 love that song!
24:38 coach that shot was amazing... i don't think some people understand or appreciate the art of that shot. Amazing coach and another great one from Golfholics!!
I have played this course 3 times and I love it, Hate it, Love it Again. Super tough as always. Great Video!
Just this intro is bringing back so many good memories of being at Spyglass when the course opened up after the quarantine. By far, my favorite course I've ever played at
Spyglass is spectacular! JT is swinging the sticks well, if he gets that putter dialed in team BigCat/Coach will be in all kinds of trouble.
Such a challenging course and all I want to do is play it again. Definitely a bucket list course!!
You know how I know your channel is the Shitz! I watch the entire vid even when there are no BLONDES playing!!!!

👍
on my bucket list ! played Pasa on the Left Coast, Harding Park and Wente. Down in LA played Monarch Beach and Maderas. All FUN !!
Wow! Spyglass, my fav Course and no.1 on my bucketlist
Good choice!
That golf course looks very, very hard! Well done gentlemen! Put up the second half ASAP!
Can't play golf for the next 4 weeks to binge watching GH videos to scratch this itch. Working to perfection (as Coach would say!)
cant play for the next 4 weeks? Thanks for watching!
Your man Brian has a real nice tempo. Very smooth.
For sure!
🙌
Combination of beauty and stressful. There is no let up - even slight mishits are often severely penalized.
All set up for a tense final 9. How lucky are you guys to be able to play such beautiful courses 👍
What a F-ing gem that course is! Bucket list for sure, you lucky dawgs!!! Thanks for letting us live vicariously tho!
Absolutely stunning golf course. Fun to see the crew playing together.
Great work fellas. Making it look so easy

Played there 4 years ago. Spanish bay is tough too. Stayed at pebble Beach all 10 days. Tap room was awesome
That information part at the beginning from the editor I guess is a very nice addition. Good work
Y’all havin a fun round. Feel right there with. Enjoyed!!

Great video guys! Even better than your 1st video/visit...
hit it up right before covid shutdown for my bachelor party. 2 hours sleep didn't help but walking this then pebble in the same day was epic!!
Now that's the way you do it! Ill take those 36 holes 7 days a week!
Like a boss!
Beautiful course. Tuff layout. Well done. Keep them coming.👍🏌⛳🇺🇸😀
That course ate my lunch but I had a blast. Can’t wait to go back.
you guys make awesome golf vlogs which are so entertaining, informative and made me love the game of golf more than anything. Please keep it up.
Thanks 🙏
As always- awesome content guys!
Loved watching this thanks for the great content. Wish I could play there
I enjoyed Spyglass more than Pebble. Diversified challenges throughout the course overflowing with abundant beauty.
Seems to be the common theme!
Man yalls production value is out of this world!! Another amazing video guys!
Much appreciated!
Living vicariously through you guys right now.👏🏻👉🏻 keep up the good work / videos ⛳️
Will be playing there tomorrow. Definitely bucket list item for me.
Wow, this course looks tough. Good job guys!👍
going at the end of the month for my bday... spyglass, spanish bay and pebble on the last day!
Awesome have fun and good luck out there!
What a beautiful day guys!!! Looks like it was a blast!

Totally awesome course
It really is!
Would love to play Spyglass, but its not it's not next door (for us Europeans)... Great first part of the vlog.
The sunny day made for a great video and a great day to play golf.
It would be helpful if you would put the date filmed in the notes. Thanks.
Luv the whistle B on everyone’s good shot.. even if your not on your A game..

So tough! Nice round!
wow, how tough is that place, its a beautiful course eh, a real challenge, great vlog guys, regards from the UK
Thanks for watching 👍 regards from the US!
Fabulous just fabulous. When it said it was 7000 yards I thought this ain't gonna be easy. It was all these little 3rd shots that was giving you guys the + numbers.
You guys are awesome! Great content! But SHEESH it’s tough watching y’all putt! Haha keep up the good work!
Like b4 you watch. It’s a must!! Compare this vid to your early spyglass vid. Both awesome in different ways!
An automatic thumbs up when the Big Cat is back on the channel.
Thanks for watching! Love the BIG CAT!
Is #3 at Spyglass similar to #3 at Torrey Pines? The footage at Spyglass reminded me of a TP hole. Like I ever watch any of your content ;) . Have a great time in Monterey!!
Spyglass Hill is also one of my favorites.
Thanks so much for the content
What's up Golfholics!!!! Keep up the great content
Thanks! Will do! Thanks for watching!
I don't think I've seen more greens as "wobbly" as that front nine. Ball looked like it was rolling side to side while going forward too!
played there and have the headcovers to prove it!!! Unbelievable course, the first 4 holes are magical
Cheers from Florida 🍻⛳🏌️♂️🏌️♀️
🤙

Great stuff as usaul guys. Its in the balance. Coachs short game is on, money's on the good guys 😁👍
Must of just missed you guys, all the pins are in the same location as when I was there a week ago.
Great weather for sure! Thanks for watching!
Pasatiempo this time as well? Its my all time favorite video of yours...
No we didn't play there this time but will next time up for sure! Thats a top course for us too!
Golfholics looking forward to it. Must have watched it 30+ times...no joke! Love the looks of that course.
Pasatiempo is a cool course for sure.
i won't ever get to play it but i love the video of it
Coach ... One of the best flop shots ever in the history of golfholics nearly fell out of bed .......great vid as always best wishes Stephen
Thanks!
I’m a 1.7 handicap and shot 87 my first time here. Might move up a tee box next time
How much to play the course? Looks amazing 👍
This course makes me envious.
I just play 18 holes of golf today and I am swing it great
JC with the Jim Nantz voice over.
@28:00 - "perfectly placed bunker" hahahaha

diggin the shoes Marko
Hit up mr shortgame fellas! Good stuff
This is on our list! We just did Wolf Creek in Mesquite NV. This could be next!
You won't be disappointed
Great match fellas! Hope to record out there someday. Only a few hours from us. About to play Half Moon Bay in a couple weeks and should be fun
Should play Spanish bay
We did! Pebble and SB up next!
Nice. Seems impossible to get bite on the greens.
Mike had that fade away going 😀

Thanks!
Hard to believe that the 4 of you couldn't make 1 birdie. Must be a tougher course than it looks.
It's a monster.
It’s a beast! Greens have a lot of slope and are fast.
I miss these videos and this crew 😢
Yea that made for some humble play :) but what an experience!
Just settled down to watch this- I hope no camera issue like last time
Hole 3 😍
OK, I'm ready to place my next order. Bros vs Buds. Brian and Mike vs JC and Paul.or Brian and JC vs Mike and Paul. and don't forget the fries!
This is a question for Coach. Do you use a square to square golf swing?
Played this course for the first time about a month ago, 4 putted the 8th hole after sticking it in 2…..
That stuff JC was in on #3 is called ice plant. Really hard to hit out of.
Thanks for the knowledge drop!
Look at Coach coming out of his stance on 100 yard wedge shots!!! I wonder if you teach that.. no worries
20:50 The third bounce looks like it hits the water?
This course is so beautiful but also virtually impossible 😂
Can someone explain why Mike falls backwards after iron shots?
Legit question, not trying to be rude!
Was wondering if you guys can do a what's in the bag any time soon and maybe mention how far you hit each club?
For sure! Hopefully in our next session of filming!
@@Golfholics Also, I got some questions to ask that maybe you could answer in a video. Similar to the ones Big Cat has done in the past.
What kind of camera do you guys use to shoot your videos?
