    Love this set!! I’m def more of a basic girlie so this design is more my style. I did recently make a blue version of the long sleeved mini dress you made a while back! I changed the design a bit at the top because I was lazy and didn’t want to make separate sleeves so I just made a super long panel and connected them hotdog way on either ends, leaving a hole in the center and having that be the top back and sleeves of the dress. Like one of those shrugs. Idk if that makes sense but then I connected that piece to a tube dress (2 panels cuz I’m smol). Made some matching leg warmers too and ended up pretty proud of the final product. Thanks for the inspo!! Ps: if you wanna add length to the skirt without having to start all over, you could crochet more at the bottom or top! If you crochet a few rounds of increases at the bottom, it could even be a cute little ruffle moment 😉

      @lilyfoubisou  Год назад +1

      omg that's so cute and smart!!! I'd love to try out that way of making sleeves that's sort of how I crochet my dresses. That whole outfit sounds super cute. And I'm glad u liked this set!!! I was worried people would think its too basic and boring lOL but I like it too!!! and omg I was totally thinking about that like maybe a ruffle moment would be cute

    Hi lily. Love this!!! This there a way to adjust this pattern to fit different sizes ? How do I do that especially with a size like XL
    I really want to surprise my friend with this but she’s bigger than you are and I’m afraid the final product might not fit

    • @lilyfoubisou
      @lilyfoubisou  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi!!! That's so sweet! ugh it's so hard bc the sentro only has 48 pins and can't make larger panels than that. I would recommend seaming two panels together for the front, back, and arms of the top essentially doubling the size of the top. Also you can add more panels as you see fit with the skirt!

    Helloo! I wanted to know if you have ever had a problem with the machine, because I have seen comments saying that it usually skips stitches, that after making several hats (for example) it stops working or that the row counter breaks. Also I liked to know how long you have had it. I just bought it yesterday and I'm a little scared lol

    • @yllojyelhsa
      @yllojyelhsa 8 месяцев назад

      It only really skips stitches if you’re going too fast and not paying attention. The counter only works if you’re working in tubular mode which is normal. And again it won’t count correctly if you’re going too fast. I think going fast is what hurts your arms anyways. I know I wasn’t who you were asking but I find it to be one of the best purchases I’ve made as a semi beginner in fiber work so you’re not immediately spending money on the expensive Addi machine. I’ve made sweaters, pants, beanies, etc. Lastly she seems to use it quite a bit so imo it’s great. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • @lilyfoubisou
      @lilyfoubisou  7 месяцев назад

      Hi!!!! the machine has been great for the most part, I've used the crap out of it lol and it's still totally working! I think it's a great alternative to the more expensive versions. I've only had problems with stitches skipping when I'm using difficult yarn (either too light weight or textured), but you can avoid this by being careful as you crank. I don't really use the row counter because I pretty much only use it in the panel setting, and I bought my own row counter for that setting here: amzn.to/3voXA6A good luck!!!

    Thanks so much for the video tutorial. The outfit is super cute and I love the green. I'm not a fan of pink so it's very nice to see this color. How many rows did you do for the arm panels and how many rows for the skirt panels? I know you mentioned 25 rows for the light green but I don't know how many rows it was for the darker green color? Thanks. I am going to make this now, I may try to make it with no sleeves or shorter sleeves to try it out and another top with the long sleeves. Did you add a tie for the skirt, how did you do the edging for it?

    • @lilyfoubisou
      @lilyfoubisou  Год назад

      Thank you so much!!! I'm glad I was able to throw some green in the mix!! The arm panels were 120 rows and the skirt panels were 83 rows!!! No sleeves would also be super cute with this set! I added a tie for the skirt and the top and bottom hem are just lined with half double crochets!

      Hi Lily, I saw where each skirt panel was 31stitches, however how many stitches across were the sleeves please. Like your work, keep it up, I'm a crocheter too and I'm trying to get back into some hand knitting too along with my Sentro machines.

    Hi! How did you join the pieces so nicely? Every time I try to join my pieces they come out all squiggly and raggedy.. Anyway, I really like your final pieces ❤

    • @lilyfoubisou
      @lilyfoubisou  Год назад +1

      thank you so much!!! The trick is to join along one vertical row of stitche - when you join through multiple rows it appears scraggly if that makes sense!! you can also try the mattress stitch for a better join, it's a bit more time consuming but i think easier to manage

  • @hyungahh

    Hi! Love your work :) I was wondering how much yarn you had to use to create this set in grams and meters. And I think saying the amount of time it took you to make every panel is super interesting to know! I bought a sentro knitting machine and will receive it next Monday, super excited to start that type of project. xx

    • @lilyfoubisou
