Women role models matter for girls.
On March 9th, Junior Achievement hosted over 200 high school girls for an inspiring day of empowering workshops, followed by a festive celebration luncheon. And it was my pleasure to serve as program speaker for the occasion.
As I look at the highlight video, it is impossible not to feel inspired by the energy we all created in that room. This year’s event exceeded all expectations and to quote one of the students walking into the room, “I can’t believe this is all for us”. Yes girls - it was all for you!
The Girls Rule Celebration connects inspirational women role models in the community with local high school girls. Through mentorship, these girls will hone their leadership skills, explore all that women can be, learn to embrace their dreams, and start their journey to success.
