I saw the dragon at Comic-Con. Honestly, I was little disappointed to see it wasn't a suit this time. Still cool :P

"you can have 2 or 3 guys completely refine that sculpture, add detail, add realism, take out the eyes... and so it's not a team of sculptors for a week to get that done, it's 2 or 3 guys for a couple of days..."
...Until the next generation of faster, more precise CNC machines/3d printers puts those 2 or 3 sculptors out of work as well.

The machines will never do away with humans. They'll always need slaves.

HistorianHimself Once something is done 3D printing it still has to be cleaned and refined, just like what happened with the head. 3D printing is a great tool, but only one tool. This Giant Creature was a great use of many types of materials. And great art needs great artists, I think those sculptors are safe for some time- Teresa

I wonder if the rest of the team of sculptors who were made unnecessary by the 3d printer thought they'd be safe for some time...

Instructed by mere words interpreted by an AI, literally speaking creatures into existence 🪄

And the detail wouldn’t be an issue later in the process
