I can totally imagine this resort has an animation team, which organises different things to do on set times of the day. Like aqua gym, pool noodle water yoga ánd the obstacle course competition ofcourse. It makes total sense!
Hey, great park so far it’s my favourite series! One thing I would suggest is maybe more signage around the pathways and around the park just so guesses know how to get to the different areas, restaurants, pools and flumes. 😊 have a pleasant day!
The park is looking so good! If the cabanas at 13:34 are supposed to be like an upsell, I think you could do a little more with them to make them more private and luxurious feeling. Maybe some drapes/curtains (don't know if there's any pieces for that), maybe work the chairs into a fake couch? Just an idea that popped into my head when I saw them 😊
I definetly think for the big slides you should have another raft one with either a raft trap or a bowl (not an end bowl but one where the slide keeps going after the bowl)
would be neat if the game let you set areas as adult/kid only, or adult/kid preferred. Make the kiddie slides mostly have kids, and limit areas to just adults.
Hi there certified pool technichan at a waterpark here. You asked about where mechanical equipment would be housed like pumps and filters and I will answer: Pool machinery pumps can't be too far away physically from the water features they run, so normally you would see a facade structure or storage area that is fenced off, just behind whatever pool in question. Each slide tower would normally have its own pump and filter seperatly for the slide and catch pool, normally inside the structure of the slide. Often the back walls of wave pools, especially in small scale local waterparks, will normally have the main maintence area and largest pumps. If this was realistic each pool would have its own pump and filter structure less than 100-200 feet away, plus an extensive netowrk of pipes feeding the pools water and chlorine around the clock. Depending on exact positon of each pool, some may share a structure.
Mechanically, Frontier could add play areas and obstacle courses to the game. They could add a series of scenery items which need to be placed in a pool which guest in that pool can then interact with like animals do in Planet Zoo's habitats. They're essentially the same system. Where the problem occurs though is when it comes to guest AI, either because of the performance hit, or because they just don't have the skill/money/resources to make it work.
Didn't think I'd enjoy the water park content as much as I have. That pov at the end, and the wide shot were very cool - you've done a great job with the layout and flow. Had completely forgotten the alton towers hole in one lol. Wonder if anyone ever won??
Hope they can implement some of the interaction the animals have in Planet Zoo with the pieces on the humans in Planet Coaster 2, so they can use play structures, rope ladders, etc. that you build in the pools and on land.
Tee hee if this was Planco 1 we could have had the crazy stuntman from Studios pack dramatically falling off at regular intervals as an homage 😂 Love this dude xx
@ oh me too! My dark rides are pretty limited at the moment without any moving peeps. Even set to static I had them everywhere. I guess Meanderville will be relying on having at least a few too
when you make the cannons fire water, you should also add some to the water guns that fire rarely. while it wouldn't make as much sense as characters actually coming up and activating them, it would be cool to see.
Hey hey I love the obstacle course it looks brilliant! I'd definitely want to have a go (even sober 😁)! Despite the big foamy logs 😆. The coin-op water cannons are superb. Can't wait to see the rest!
Coin operated? Who has coins in his or her swimming gear. And up charge for an obstacle course? Life guards that tell you when to go? Nah nothing like that here in the Netherlands. Go when you want, climb on in when you want
Absolutely, the fact that the developers added no collision detection rules just shows the rushed and reality lost evolution they were working in, we have had object collision since pong in video games..
@@samwalker8893to do that for thousands of guests would slow down the game too much. Do you want bigger parks or collisions? They've now added functional barriers like PC1 for areas you want collision
@ dont be silly, we have object collision in very single polygon surface in games since pong… nonsense,, you dont see NPC walking through cars and trees in GTA, or enemies falling through seats on COD, guests SHOULDNT walk through solid walls and benches, doors, quees, fences anything
@samwalker8893 that's different because it's not rendering those people constantly in the games you mentioned. Planet coaster renders way more people at any given point. And in those games you're not constantly introducing new objects of varying hitboxes
@ of course you are, every single time any object in ANY game moves and even the view point by as much as single pixel the entire image has to re-render… any other explanation is clearly not understanding how games function, hit boxes are not by default difficult or complex items, hit boxes are to exclude an item from anothers motion, eg a swing or movement arc potential, not to stop two colliding through each other… the way it appears now neither had hit box NOR solid object construction… the fact we are seeing 5-25 guests joined by a single arm shows entirely the construct for the game is flawed…
sorry to be off topic but after watching all these new videos coming out, i just suddenly wondered where PAULSLEY went, havent seen anything from him in a long time.
Just wanted to check in only because i know you're colour blind, do you know that for the rainbow slides the middle sections are all basically the same colours as the slides except for the last one which has a very bright purple middle and a dull pink slide? Not sure if you meant for the middles to give more colours to the rainbow or just to match them?
Maybe you could add a cave element to the lazy river, I see lots of high budget parks using those these days
I can totally imagine this resort has an animation team, which organises different things to do on set times of the day. Like aqua gym, pool noodle water yoga ánd the obstacle course competition ofcourse. It makes total sense!
A grassy picnic area would be nice. Could you get them to use it with the invisible paths, maybe?
My number 1 wish for this game is more guest interaction with things we create... this would be the perfect example. Love it btw.

Oh you did find space for it then after taking about it in the livestream! Still waiting for the floating UK weather map though haha
Yeah! Squeezed it in as it is a fun idea!

Yeah, some sort of modular system that we can then theme on top of seems doable to me... but also, I have no idea about development lol
The different levels work so well! I love as you come out after the gift shop and it all opens out in front of you.
Didn't think I'd enjoy the water park content as much as I have. That pov at the end, and the wide shot were very cool - you've done a great job with the layout and flow.

I LOVE THE REVEALS AROUND THE PARK! That is totally my vibe!
Hope they can implement some of the interaction the animals have in Planet Zoo with the pieces on the humans in Planet Coaster 2, so they can use play structures, rope ladders, etc. that you build in the pools and on land.
Man you are adding everything one could possibly ask for in a waterpark, love it!
Park is really taking shape. Loving it! Great work as always!
Oh I'm totally borrowing the castle / façade for my second lazy river.
Never skip a geekism video
every single time you say "art shape" (which is what i assume ur saying) i hear "heart shape" and my head goes THAT'S ACTUALLY A RECTANGLE SIR
im honestly always blown away with your attention to detail!
Good references for this would be the reality show games Wipeout or American Ninja Warrior
You know I just love these videos
Tee hee if this was Planco 1 we could have had the crazy stuntman from Studios pack dramatically falling off at regular intervals as an homage 😂
Love this dude xx
I'm really hoping that a cool new animatronic system is coming so we can do stuff like that... fingers crossed!

as a fully grown man, would have a blast with this in real life 🤣 great build
such beautiful work! everything really seems to be coming together
Hey hey I love the obstacle course it looks brilliant! I'd definitely want to have a go (even sober 😁)! Despite the big foamy logs 😆. The coin-op water cannons are superb. Can't wait to see the rest!
I can’t wait to see this finished, the overview made me realise how insane this is 😍
Bless you!!!
OK so funny story this is the video that convinced me to get planco 2 and your waterpark IS beautiful!
A big big big pool, just for swimming is needed!
RIP oddles of noddles, we barely knew thee. (Great build as always, Jonti!)
Rulantica is an amazing water park, I recommend it :) (it is Europa Park's water park)
loving the park
2:10 a lot of campgrounds in the US I have visited will have these
I would kill to go on that obstacle course! Could be fun to have a leaderboard and time people as they go across, see who do it the fastest :)
11:32 bless you!
after being taught about it in school way back when, this is the first time i've actually heard an English person call an umbrella a brolly
Coin operated? Who has coins in his or her swimming gear.
And up charge for an obstacle course? Life guards that tell you when to go? Nah nothing like that here in the Netherlands. Go when you want, climb on in when you want
The Hole in 1 is still there now for £1000 prize:) Great episode as always :)
Looks REALLY cool, i would definitely die in there😅
Inflatable obstacle courses feels like a dlc
I saw someone build a pool inside a building, in tropical style. It was so nice! Maybe a new project for your park??
I miss security cameras!!! Best way to take screenshots.
Big Foamy Log Obstacle Course
No backing up here... guests will flow right through!
This unusual on Sunday
They happen when they happen lol
You could add a themed tunnel for the lazy river
They seriously need a decoration update.
Add one of the water slide where you stand and then the floor drops and you go weeeeeee!
They should make the water canon a real usable thing
how do you make it functional it looks cool
Sadly, it's purely aesthetic at the moment!
Obstacle course looks cool. But wet logs, netting, etc are probably going to get the health & safety officer a bit nervous?! 😅
The logs would be foam ones too I feel. Is netting not allowed?
Im jealous. This feels so real that I honestly want to go there, but it's not 😭
To create life with hotels, what about imbedding a spore point, and if we get hotels piece (like PlanCo1) they can be replaced??
I can’t stand how guests just swim and walk through stuff, grinds my gears.

imagine if we had actual cool pool enrichment items
bless you!! :D :D
Wat is the statue of the human that you use for scale called? I can’t find it.
Do you know or does anyone know if there is multi-select in Planet Coaster for console
hello can I download your planquatica part to play please with the workshop thank you
I just can't build something like this in my park, as much as I want to, guests/peeps walking through the scenery drives me fucking insane
You sneezed so hard my video went to an advert 🤣
Goodbye teeth if someone faceplants on the logs lol!
... why on earth do people walk through the counters? I understand the scenery but the counters?!
How you getting out of your obstacle course if you fall in? 😅
I would totally make my family embarrassed on that thing.
Can you put your obstacle course and splash park on the workshop
Just saying...... That Alton towers golf challenge is still there! Believe it or not, although I think the prize is now £1000
Dare I ask...... Will another archer park video appear?? 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Hy l want to talk to u how l can find you 😊
