I think this is the first time too that we’ve seen a canted iron sight in CoD. I really hope we see more of them in the future.

If you're going for LARP-ey builds, the center flip up on the Angel is currently considered tactical because it doesn't catch on nearby vertical surfaces when you flip it down. There's a thermal hybrid that's like this too
My favorite optic is the LCAN Specter and ACOG for the high zoom and for red dots I rock with the viper and canted red dots.
I do wish the Specter was a 1-4x variable zoom like it is IRL. I understand why it's not but it'd be cool to have
there’s also a thermal version of the angel 40, I like using that a lot
I actually have a sweet spot for the DX cause it appears in a lot of mil sims. It also looks kinda spacey. Like something you would see on a star wars blaster.
Also very glad to see the ARES Clearshot on this list, it's one of my favorite optics in the game. I love to use it on battle rifles and marksman rifles since it allows a ton of flexibility.
I'd be willing to use more optics if I could choose the RETICAL i want, like old cods..It always seems like one step forward 2 steps back with this franchise
Maybe I've played too much Battlefield 4, but I haven't really complained about optics ever. I always stick with what optics match a gun. If it's an American weapon, it'll probably have a holo or Elcan style optic attached. If it's a Russian weapon, it'll probably get the monocle or the Russian holographic equivalent. Outside of the meme builds, I try to keep my weapons true to form so to speak.
Like the explanation of different Optics Boom. Your right just switching the optic on your AR or Sniper can positively change your play style.
Love using attachments that other people don’t use, makes the game more fun, on top of making the gun look better in a lot of cases
I’ve actually been using the monocle sight more often on wz/resurgence. Been liking it more and more after not liking it ever
While the variety of sights is awesome, I miss being able to customize the reticle.
The Recharge is based on the Trijicon SRS, which is an unfortunately uncommon red dot sight as I've found it to be very pleasant to use in real life, and was pleasantly surprised to see it in this game.
It's uncommon because Trijicon in their infinite wisdom discontinued it. As a result they are heavily inflated if you can find them online.

It’s not that we don’t want to use em, it so of the sights slow ads times. And we’d have to sacrifice a attachment that helps more than the sight does
SZ Recharge: i often use this scope for smgs since i like the very subtle look it gives. Its often on my AR57 and P90.
Enforcer: This is a shotgun optic to me, clear, wide, and simple for the 870 and M10.
Schlager: i'll admit, i dont use this optic as much, but i really should be.
Angel Zoom: THIS is the optic that i wanted for the crossbow since itr would have the MOST use ever. When i need to really account for arrow drop, this should be at the top of my list, but because it isnt available for the crossbow, i settled for the Schlager.
Thermal Canted: I still have bad memories of this optic from MW19, pass.
Vigilant: if this was on more BR's and MR's id be using it more often, especially on the FTAC and SR25.
I would really like to see a part 2, if you say that you have 10 optics that you dont see as much i wanna know what since i think i used almost all the optics at least once.
For the Tempo Clear Shot, the canted red dot is actually a Docter Sight, which was kind of like the predecessor to the Trijicon RMR, which mostly replaced use of the Docter sight on top of ACOGs and Elcans and sometimes canted.
i agree, most players just stick with the boring optics and never experiment with the optics hell even with other unique attachments this game has to offer.
Ive loved the schlagger, I use it in warzone and ground war quite often. Its CLEAN.
I used both rangefinders when I got long shots, definitely helped a bit imo
I personally only use optics for ground war or dmz/warzone, for regular core 6v6 modes i like saving the slot since most iron sights in this game are quite useable. Using optics does make the gun look tacticooler though for sure
Corio enforcer is actually my favorite dot sight it's super underrated
My two favorite optics are the Angel 40 4.8x and the Sz holotherm, I think that is what it's called anyways. I never see anyone use either of them for some reason. The holotherm is pretty cool because it's basically two thermals in one.. and one of them can see through smoke to a degree. You probably already know about this, but if not, check it out Boom it's pretty cool.
Well, that first red dot has a thick frame with no extra magnification compared to the popular red dots. Might as well use the others with thinner frames and better sight pictures.
That recharge dx is a great one! Currently using that on the Hemlock
Idk why, but I have such a hard time with the standard red dots in this game. So the Holotherm is my absolute go to. If it’s not available on a gun then the enforcer is my second choice
Been a huge fan of the df 105 red dot, it has such a clear sight picture, I use it on my ranked scar
I like the solo zero, or whatever the name of the blue dot sight is. The angel hybrid is cool too but I swear it's not on every gun that has access to hybrid sights.. which is odd
I run the Thermal-Hybrid on my Marksman Rifle. I really do love it
It would be nice if somewhere in the description of the optic, it would tell you how much zoom it has, or have the correct zoom.

Is just only used for hardcore for ppl to grind longshot camo. So is more of a niche optic.

I mostly run iron sights on my guns. But I do use optics on some of my guns because the iron sights are horrible, like the Iso Hemlock probably the best overall gun in the game but the iron sights are atrocious on it and on the Tempest , I run the Schlager 3.4 for accuracy
The thing that really kills 99% of the optics for me is how much they slow down my ADS speed. I go with the +10ms speed at most because the others are too punishing. I don't think optics up to like 5.0x should reduce ADS speed, 5.0x+ should get the +10ms penalty and hybrids should get a +20ms penalty and just call it there.
I actually use half of the optics in this video. Simply cuz its fun, they are sights being made in the "modern" times and they put the work into them.

The range finder hybrid is bugged with affected and independent fov settings. Also, Corio RE-X Pro is actually best optic
I love how this game gives you so many custom options and people just stick to the same 3 sights because some adhd screaming codtuber told them "this sight is OP".
If only we could change the reticles...some of the optics reticles are far too obtrusive to be able to use...
If only Infinity Ward didn't make it so that anything higher than 1.0x Optics murder your ADS time. 😋

Most optics have been adjusted. They don’t harm your ADS as much.
