Pauline is standing outside her house in downtown Beam City, looking at her box truck, which is sitting in the driveway with smoke billowing out from under the cab. During the night, someone had sabotaged the truck by draining all the water from the radiator, causing the engine to overheat and blow up. As Pauline shook her head in disgust, Daisy arrived in her hatchback with Rosalina and Peach riding along. "Hey, Pauline, what happened to your truck?" Daisy asked as she stopped in the driveway and got out. Pauline turned to Daisy and replied, "Some son of a *BLEEP* drained the radiator and ruined the engine in my truck! Now I need a lift to the warehouse to get my spare truck." "I'll move into the backseat so you can sit up front," Rosalina said as she opened the passenger door, climbed out, tilted the seat forwards, and hopped into the back with Peach. Pauline put the seat back into position, got in, and buckled up. Daisy then got back in the car and buckled up before putting the gearshift into reverse. "It's unfortunate that some dirtbag had to mess with your truck," Peach said to Pauline as Daisy started backing the car out of the driveway. Pauline nodded and replied, "Yeah, it is. If I can find out who the hell is responsible... he owes me 100,000 gold coins to replace the truck." As soon as the car was back out on the street, Daisy shifted into first gear. Before she could step on the gas pedal, however, a white car slammed hard into the rear of the hatchback. The impact snapped the right-rear axle off and caused the entire assembly to be shoved into the rear of the hatchback... where it struck Rosalina with enough force to actually break her back. *"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! MY BACK! MY BACK!"* Rosalina screamed in pain as the hatchback spun to a stop. Daisy promptly pulled out her cell phone and dialed 9-1-1 while Peach tried to stabilize Rosalina, who was writhing around and crying out in agony. Pauline leaped out of the hatchback and sprinted over to the white car to see who was driving it. "HEY, DAISY! YOU BETTER CALL SHERIFF DUMMIESON RIGHT NOW!" Pauline shouted. "The son of a *BLEEP* who was driving this thing is WALUIGI!" Daisy did so while Pauline angrily yanked the dazed Waluigi from the car, hoisted him up onto her shoulders in a 'fireman's carry', and carried his skinny squirming form back to the battered hatchback. "Oh, great. That dumb piece of *BLEEP* has done it again!" Peach snarled. Pauline nodded, and then she delivered a vicious 'Attitude Adjustment' to Waluigi, slamming him down on the hood of the hatchback so hard that he was instantly knocked unconscious. (20 minutes later, the paramedics arrived, followed by Dummieson, who slapped Waluigi across the face to wake him up. He then picked up the skinny creep and threw him into the back of his patrol car, knocking him out cold again, before taking him away to the police station. Rosalina was loaded into the ambulance and taken to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with four cracked vertebrae in her lower back, a serious but repairable injury. After a successful surgery, Rosalina was confined to bed rest at home for the next three months. Waluigi not only had to pay for the surgery (50,000 gold coins), but he paid for sabotaging Pauline's truck (100,000 gold coins) and for destroying Daisy's hatchback (20,000 gold coins). In the end, Waluigi had to file for bankruptcy while serving a five-year prison sentence for causing the sabotage, the accident, and the injury that Rosalina had sustained.)
