Most underrated band in the history of the SF bay area.....way ahead of their day. They blew away any band they opened for. Most intense hard rock band of all time.
Is it me or was the drumming on this fucking incredible? I bought this album when iit came out, from the bin. I spent hours in record stores back in the day looking for obscure rockers...this was a gem! I really think this band never got the notoriety they deserved, not here anyway in the states. All Hail Y&T
this album is all about Leonard Haze putting on a masterclass on hard rock drumming. I do not hearing drumming quite like this anymore. Not with a single bass pedal anyway.
Back in the day when we listened to great music via speaker cabinets made of real wood with a 12", 8" and tweeter - it shook the house! VS today's paltry microvibration devices stuffed in our phones or laptops... Just saying
Special Thanks to Dave, Leonard, Phil, and Joey......You guys made one hell of an album that totally rocked the parking lot at Englewood HS in Jax FL on a daily basis.
R.I.P. to guitar player Joey Alves on March 12, 2017, Joey Alves died at the age of 63 from ulcerative colitis and inflammatory bowel disease---with the deaths of Joey bass player Phil Kennemore and drummer Leonard Haze this leaves vocalist/guitar player Dave Menekiit the only surviving member of the original and classic lineup of Y&T.
after decades of playing drums myself, old "thunderfoot" still blows me away.
this album is a masterclass on hard rock drumming
that drummer has a hell of a foot. I was into these guys a long time ago and everyone I turned onto them was blown away.
This album stands the test of time, in fact it keeps getting better. Thanks for the great 70's memories.
Masterclass .. indeed!!
One of the finest bands to come out of the bay area . Hats off to Yesterday and Today, the Boyz from Hayward! 🎸🔥⚡

These guys played for one of my high-school dances. They were a big hit. And I went out soon after and bought this album. Those were some good times.
Another awesome song from one of the greatest party albums I ever owned.
Many thanks from Florida!!!

Thanks for your efforts in posting Y&T tunes.
Bass drumming at its finest. KISS radio in San Antonio in the 70’s.
