Totally agree. I'm playing in a band that likes their more recent stuff and it's frustrating. Come on over, nastie sadie, earthshaker... that stuff is the shit.
Been a fan since I was 18 years old. I had the honor of seeing these boys some 15 years ago at a theater in Ontario California.. unfortunately Leonard Hayes had left the band to work at a glass shop at that time. I didn’t hear that news until I was standing align for the show.(I felt like I had lost my firstborn child) of course the show was out standing regardless. Leonard Hayes a.k.a. thunder foot, he’s a fucking beast, and Dave is quite his equal on guitar and vocals. Actually had the pleasure of meeting him after the show out back in the parking lot. One of the nicest most humble and down to earth people I’ve ever met.
The drummer, Leonard Haze was a single bass drummer. For my ears, as much justified accolades that gets heaped on Nico Mcbrain's single bass drum technique, Leonard Haze is definitely in the same league. Absolutely jaw dropping.
My 20th birthday at Mabuhay Gardens 1979 San Francisco with my band The Mechanics. I see Leonard..he says"Hey man what's happening?!! I say "We're playing tonight and it's my birthday!!" He proceeds to lay out the biggest line of coke I've ever seen...granted I've really never seen that much! It was a fun night!! True story! God rest your soul Leonard. One of the best drummers I've ever seen and a friend.😢
Leonard Haze puts on a masterclass in hard rock drumming
single bass drum too!
East bay in the 70s...hard rock capital of the world!
This album is their best. Raw guitar tones, and the drums and bass are present.

.. This song and 'Fast ladies' are two of the best raw rock songs ever!

The best in the Bay!!
Flashback to my 8 track Daze
I first heard this LP in bout 81 or 82 at around 19 yrs old, I knew then they were Very under rated. Wish I could have seen them...
Living in the SF Bay Area, I saw them cutting their teeth & chops, during their early days. Dave Meneketti is still carrying the Y & T torch.

Didn't Nikko use a double kick drum on "Where Eagles Dare"?

Nico had better fills but Leo is THE BEST single kick player besides Bonham
Great!
They played this live last night \m/
The best thing about Y&T was their drummer. Without him they simply were a bad Jurney band.
Reminds me of the Starwood
Was this double bass? Either way Awesome...
No, that is Leonard Haze, he is bad ass
Single bass drum one foot this guy was a bad asd
Kick Ass 😎👍
🤟😍
They shouldn't have fired Haze.
