21:45 - Another false premise David. Culture, faith, morality matter far more than wealth.
Poor, white Appalachia has very low crime. Poor, not-so-white inner cities have a LOT of crime.
Must not be the poverty causing the crime. 🤔. Maybe you should read some more Thomas Sowell. 😉

Expectation and reality. Poor whites in Pennsylvania accept their peasant fates. Poor blacks do not. The media sends a different message to each group.

Excellent interview...as always! Thanks David for being so welcoming in the rich variety of invitees you bring to your show, and the widespread wave of high quality ideas it brings! When talking "food for thoughts" you could open a restaurant! Ps: in such an elevated economic channel, I wonder why so many fashion victims clicked on the 'follow' button? There are plenty of great influencers that give excellent advices on how to cure your nails or hair. Priorities!

I’ve not watched the video yet just reading the comments. I’ll watch it and see how off topic it is.
I think random talking is fine. What gets me the most though is when two people say it’s great to have you the expert and then the other person says oh no no no. I’m honored to be here haha. It’s like showing some gratitude is great but don’t be overly grateful that it’s like patting each other on the back haha

Its funny to listen to really smart people like Joe who spent a great deal of time and money to discover truths enshrined into this universe and human beings by its creator and already communicated to us by Him for our flourishing. Would love to have the moral argument with Joe to see how many times he would sneak one in the back door like they always do. Kudos to Joe for being honest about what he found as so many are not when results go against the secular orthodox narrative.

Really, we are NOT interested in the family structure of 1900(*) we are interested in the social and political interworking/interaction that constituent to a successful nation. This professor is out of touch and should shift his research to the current needs of the US society. BTW I am NOT a US citizen.
*The structure then and now is different. I notice David you are pressing him about the current social and economic situations/circumstances that impact a society(neoliberal and command economies) and he cannot answer you in so many of your questions.

Joe Henrich is a beast. His book “The Secret of Our Success” is a must-read to understand human evolution and psychology. It’s funny people criticize him without reading any of his work. They let their ideology dictate their views, so they read Harvard professor in the title and correlate that with liberal/progressive. Therefore, he’s terrible. That’s stupid.

And I thought this was just a financial show? The empires that have done the best had the greatest freedoms the empires that fell did so when freedom and opportunity was stolen. Why humans at the top have to screw the humans at the bottom is why those who make the best leaders are those who don’t want the job.

Euler, Tesla, Westinghouse were sound advocates. If you have the gift of intuition, you know well of this? In my opinion, Peace nurtures great minds and great outcomes within a culture.

In case no one has been paying attention. Woman in the current dating market are all seeking the top 5% - 10% men. Which begs the question. Do we have polygamy again? All the top tier men have all the access. Ask your guest to touch on these topics if you have him back on. I would argue the sexual market is worse than the real economy. It matters because men won’t slave if there is no opportunity for a family.

What individualism? On paper, but just as the US constitution, it is moot at this point.
There is no wealth without lots of energy and organised violence. Ask the native americans that were tossed aside by the superior fire power of the european settlers with a mission from their middle eastern deity.
Then just run that logic over and over again, loop it every generation, cement it in power structures and money creation.
People are just slight genetic variations, so what individualism? It is the same type of suits for specific societal roles.
    Illusions, maya.
"Look! Things! Shiny objects good. Me shiny object want. Impress woman. Inject with genetic code. Caveman happy, drink aged grapes from oak barrel. Suck on glowing browned toxic leaves. Swing club at hard sphere, walk on large grass plain. Feel cultured. Produce endorphins."
    Repeat for n generations.
