Wow! This just. Wow….people and times surely do change. I didn’t even recognize Johnny Rotten. I searched up Malcolm’s name and when I saw who it was I was shocked. All this time Buffalo Girls is referenced, and I didn’t realize this is the Malcolm who was being spoke up. I remember seeing him and Johnny Rotten on VH1’s the History of Rock N Roll. I miss those days. It was back in 2010. I was 15 and learning so much about real music. Boy oh boy. Times now just seem so surreal sometimes.
Dave Vanian was always a suave, youthful-looking crooner who could very well have been an Opera or theatrical singer because of his smooth baritone voice. Johnny will always be Johnny, though it's sad to see that in just a few years he's gone from trim and fit to bloated due to a thyroid condition. Hopefully he will get back to fighting weight as what usually happens following extensive treatment.
If Malcolm managed everything right sid + Nancy wouldn't have died, Johnny rotten would be a mega punk rock star and The Sex Pistols wouldn't have broken up and they definitely would have created at least a second pistols Album *more if a second album worked out well), so much young ambition - energy - explosive potential gone down the sh*tter, had it been the 2020s and not the 1970s, the pistols were wayy ahead of their time; imagine the SPs if they had the modern Internet in their teens - twenties, they would be able to make and upload their music to RUclips and get 100% profit instead of getting screwed by the music industry much like TLC filing for bankruptcy while at the same time winning 6 Grammy's. Had they had youtube they wouldve gone viral and made their money, that's what caused most of the problems, MONEY - I KNOW they got cheated out of millions and their "greedy overlords" decided "they were taking a gamble" having the pistols on their roster and only gave them an option of the record company getting 80% + Commision / and SPs get a one time payment of 20% with the overlords getting the money for radio play and if you divide it up amongst the group everybody gets at least 3% each - total feckin robbery, where was their manager and Lawyers - oh yeah, the pistols would rather die than be seen with uptight englishmen in suits, the only guys so PUNK, they don't care about lawyer's REAL PUNK guys loll

My dad does not want my mum to go into a home. It is a true love story. Not that I know anything about John Lydon's life. HOWEVER, FFS, have some empathy.
