I'm wondering why you didn't pay a little more to take a taxi from the airport directly to your hotel. Especially when you first arrive and you have luggage. How is your cell phone working as soon as you arrive? Do you have an international plan?

How long did it take u to clear customs/immigration? Flying from Chicago to Bangkok (I have a 2 and a half hour layover at Delhi airport) and I have to recheck my bags and go through security all over again onto my next flight to Bangkok
Unless your airplane will be late, you should probably make it. The custom is fast, but you might lose 30 minutes between getting out of the flight and getting your bag. Hopefully you did the india e-visa too.
If you buy a sim card in Deli airport they always try to short change you, They have the right amount of change already in their hand for if they get caught and say they have made a mistake, Happens every time i go there
