    Is it a good idea to plug an outlet splitter in that unit to add extra outlets on it?

    • @b-icemedia
      @b-icemedia  4 месяца назад

      No, I would not do that. That can possibly put too much stress on the unit and not properly protect connections from power surges.

    Nice i got the little brother of this model the mr4300. I was just wondering you said you had an older panamax what happened to that one does it still work.

      @b-icemedia  Год назад

      Very nice! That’s a good unit too. Yes, it still worked, but it was about 10 years old, so I figured it was worth upgrading and updating.

    Basically you have high power and normal stuff...all those other for video, for audio, for digital is marking BS.
    I was going to grab the 5300 but this one has 2 more high power outlets so this one it is. Thanks!

    Snake oil?

    • @b-icemedia
      @b-icemedia  2 месяца назад

      No, I think it's worth it! It's done a great job of protecting all of my equipment through various power failures over the couple of years that I've owned it.

      @@b-icemedia any improvement on sound or picture? Less noise?

    • @PIPERBOYWILLIAMS
      @PIPERBOYWILLIAMS 2 месяца назад

      Most of them are. Devices such as receivers have noise reducing tech in them. Most reviewers are just trying to sell products

    So connecting a soundbar to bank3 is ok ?

    • @b-icemedia
      @b-icemedia  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, that's fine! Honestly, any of them will help protect your sound bar; it's just what Panamax has deemed "best."

      That’s a great deal! I’d definitely get one for your setup if you don’t have any sort of power conditioner.

    How does this unit compare to the Waudio 5900?

    • @b-icemedia
      @b-icemedia  9 месяцев назад

      I'm not sure as I've only used this Panamax and an older version that was passed down to me.

    • @KingdomKey57
      @KingdomKey57 27 дней назад

      I looked into the WAudio and read too many posts of electrical engineers warning people to not buy power conditioners from China. I even had the 5900 for a month and returned it because it made me nervous

    These can help. But remember tjey will remove RFI and EMI and they can clip any overvoltage spikes. It CAN NOT do anything for voltage sags. Soooooo it can help. For that kind of $$$%$%$ you can probably make other uogrades that will make more difference

    • @b-icemedia
      @b-icemedia  Месяц назад

      I'm sure there are some cheaper options, but it's also convenient having so many plug ins for one single unit.

    Man i just got this thing and my subwoofer had this annoying humm to it and this absolutely eliminated 100% of it. Even at max volume you cant hear any background noise. I guess you get what you pay for is true in this case.
