    I've been watching your home poker tournament videos. Thanks for the content. I'm looking for a good tournament set and was wondering if you knew of one for sale. I've checked poker chip forum, but was wondering if you had any insider info. Thanks and blessings.

      I don't have any inside scoop or track on PCF, I'm just another member of the community adding what positive vibes and posts I can. Right now there's a couple of group buys underway, I don't think any of them are particularly inexpensive and there are no insider discounts that I know of. Best of luck!

    Are the 43 mm easier or more difficult to shuffle vs the 39mm?

    • @chrismanzoni3586
      @chrismanzoni3586  3 года назад

      They are a little bit tougher to shuffle, especially if like most of us you learned with 39mm. But it’s not significantly harder, once you get going you get used to it.

    great video!!! I have a question... which chips size do you prefer between 39mm and 43mm?

    • @chrismanzoni3586
      @chrismanzoni3586  4 года назад +1

      Don’t have a strong preference, I love both actually. I think more people are used to 39 mm, that’s what you have when you play in a casino.

      @@chrismanzoni3586 Thank you for replying!!! then... In fact, I'm agonizing between 'majestic poker chip' and 'royal poker chip'. which one do you recommend? and these china clay's odor is so that strong?

    • @chrismanzoni3586
      @chrismanzoni3586  4 года назад

      @@3451-h6c My personal preference is for the colors of the the Royals. Majestics are more muted - but are perfectly great chips. Also keep in mind the sizes - Majestics are the more traditional 39mm that everyone knows, the Royals are 43mm and can be a bit surprising to longtime poker players.
      China clays to have a bit of an odor, but that should fade pretty quickly as they are played with.

      @@3451-h6c I absolutely love the way Royals look but I'm just not sure about pulling the trigger on 43mm.

    alright alright alright, since you asked for the inside jokes here you go!
    the 25 cent frac and 1k chip have JJ's dinner. Thats the main character, Leslie Knopes (played by Amy Poehler), favorite dinner in Pawnee. They make the best waffles in the USA.
    the $1/500 blue has Duke Silver, which is Ron Swansons (played by Nick Offerman) smooooooth jazz playin alter ego.
    $5/5000 Snake juice is an alcohol created by Aziz Ansari's character Tom Haverford at his club "The Snake Hole Lounge"
    $25/25 The Pawnee Godesses are a knock off girl scout troop created by Leslie Knope
    $100/100 is MOUSE RAAAAAT!!!! (my favorite chip) Mouse Rat is Andy Dwyer's (played by Chris Pratt) local band, most famous for its tribute to Lil Sebastian which, i think, is called 5000 candles in the wind
    25k tourney chip - Sweetums is the candy factory in town, and the main employer of Pawnee.
    Treat yo' self! is a reference to a holiday celebrated by Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle (Retta Sirleaf) as a day to well... treat yo self! Go splurge!
    You Got Jammed! is a reference to a catch phrase for Leslie Knope's arch enemy, Councilman Jamm (Jon Glaser).
    HOLY CRAP A LIL SEBASTIAN CHIP (also, im writing this as a watch, so good to know i got the song right) Lil Sebastian is the most famous resident of Pawnee, IN. Hes a miniature horse and everyone WORSHIPS him.
    The Wamapoke Indians are the native american tribe in the Pawnee area. They have a casino, and call out the main characters when they are being racially insensitive. Also they are subject to some pretty nasty stuff in Pawnee history....
    LOVE these chips man and love your reviews/tutorials. I run a microstakes cash game based on your cash game tutorials! They wouldn't be running nearly as smooth with out your help!

      DANGIT, missed the dealer chips
      Tom Haverford creates an entertainment company called "Entertainment 7twenty" which is more focused on being an "it" brand vs actually doing.... anything else. Its awesome

    I love custom poker chips but will never understand these types of themes or fake casinos. Why don’t they simply make nondescript but beautiful designs …like the Paulson Niors
