Complimenti davvero! - Ripartirei domani mattina!

Well, if you fit studs, you'll drive more sure on the ice, especially when braking. However, I used Pirelli winter tires and I hadn't any problem. My car have rear wheel-drive and was loads of luggage. Notice that in Sweden, Finland and Norway all the cars fits studs and I knew that in Finland is possible rent tires with studs. Enjoy the trip!

@tipi1000 It's "Catch You", sung by Anggun and Ron (an Italian singer, whose full name is Rosalino Cellammare) inserted in a CD released in 2006 titled "Ma quando dici amore" that means "But when you say love". Bye!

The trip isn't difficult but you have to be careful to ice.Use a good car and very good tires.More you go to the north, more the light is few (in Honningsvag you have not more than two hours of few light). The speed depends upon road conditions and the traffic.Be careful when you meet a truck because for few seconds the snow raised by the wheels prevent you from seeing.Normally you can drive safely between 70 and 90 km/h, that are the common speed limit. And be careful the reindeers and elks!

I'm thinking of doing the same trip during the winter of 2014 (I've already been to Nordkapp, but in the summer). Did you have to fit studs to your tyres, or were the winter tyres on their own suitable enough for the conditions?
