    Nice but make sure u go on heel and lift toes foot upwards to release the foot staple so their ankles don't snap on way down especially if wearing boots re the end look at it. Pak punch or Pak Sao w like a jut sao to neck w foot staple seems decent setup for it

      Yes you're right! Could be a nasty outcome if not done with some caution. Thanks!!

    Atemi is the key to unlocking many Aikido techniques. Use good striking like KARATE, BOXING, KICKBOXING yet it be Dutch or Thai. Wing Chun Kung Fu it a great blend for Aikido. Keep up the good work. May God bless you and your Martial Arts Journey

    Awesome, I like your approach to when to execute the kotegaeshi rather than trying to catch it mid air. I got 4 feedback/suggestions.
    1: The aikijitsu elbow use it as a block/cover as you drive in o crash with the elbow as a spear.
    2: The shomen uchi, blend the strike with hooking on or clinching to opponent's neck, so first chop to loosen up opponent and then drag/push or pull out of kuzushi.
    3: it would be interesting to see you demonstrate aikido techniques before the fight starts, when "opponent" is mouthing off and which preemptive aikido waza options you have.
    4: let the viewers know more about the concept of stepping on / hooking opponent's foot.

      I don't know too much, but this seems like good advice. From where did you learn all this?

    • @IbrahimKhalil-bt9yh
      @IbrahimKhalil-bt9yh 2 года назад +2

      @@Kizzabear88 basically been doing martial arts since childhood and know about 10 different martial arts and been researching aikido lately in order to show the flower power type "aikidokas" that it's an art that actually works. So there's quite extensive research and a lot more to uncover. But I will see if I will continue the research. It would help if there was a site or book with all the curriculum gathered.

      @@IbrahimKhalil-bt9yh yes, indeed. what's the best literature on the field?

    • @IbrahimKhalil-bt9yh
      @IbrahimKhalil-bt9yh 2 года назад +1

      @@Kizzabear88 I wouldn't say my research is based on one book, but rather some history but a lot of it by analyzing techniques. My research before aikido was karate and I noticed a lot of similar issues that could be found with karateka stem from the same root problem of misunderstanding what kata and other important concepts what they are meant. So a lot of research is with listening to the masters of the arts and connecting it with reality.

      @@IbrahimKhalil-bt9yh good advice and namaste, brother. I focus on copying the physical moves of the masters and then try to understand the theories and wisdom that comes with it.

    Good to see that people can make their "aikido" work... I was doing this kind of training in the 1980's when there were no cameras or people to record it.... Tomiki aikido for 32 years until I retired from martial arts....
