Exclusive A New White Lion Cub Born In Greater Kruger National Park

- Meet the new lively WHITE LION Cub and siblings, who were recently born into the Birmingham Lion Pride and fathered by the Mbiri Males.
This is the second white lion cub born into the Birmingham pride in recent months. The second one, who was born around six months ago, vanished and has not been seen since. That was a cub of the white Birmingham lioness.
The one in the video is the youngest, and the mother is a tawny lioness.
Filmed of a small stretch of road between Orpen Rest Camp and the reception area at the gate in Kruger National Park on December 16, 2023.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

I’ll just put this here for those who do not read the video synopsis: these are NOT Casper’s cubs. These cubs were fathered by the Mbiri males. These cubs were born in the Birmingham pride, who has now produced 4 white lions, though sadly the 3rd cub born 6 months ago to the now adult female white lion disappeared.

@@biankamuckenschnabl6958 I may not have this fully understood, but it’s my understanding that the Birminghams split into 3 groups: the original pride still under Ross male control, the breakaways who I don’t know who the dominant male(s) are, and the satellite group which has the female white lion and is under control of the Mbiri males. I’ll grant I may have some of this wrong, so someone more informed can correct me here.

First time seeing the Birminghams on your channel. I really hope this one survived after the other white cub was lost recently. And last year the Shishangaans also lost a white cub. Its kust heartbreaking..

Oh my I can watch this all day they are so playful and she is such a good mom and she's just licking and licking them that is so cute it's always special and Cubs are born I just pray that they make it to be king just like their dads 👑🦁🙏😇❤️
Such a good mama taking care of her very lively cubs. She's so calm and relaxed, while they happily play. Sad to hear the other white lion cub likely has not survived.

You know it has to be hard specially for first time mothers and White Princess was a first time mother so bless her heart that her white cub came up missing. I hope this i think they said was a male? Lets hope he makes it to adulthood. Thank you for sharing this lovely video.

The white cub didn't appear interested in being groomed, it just wanted to roughhouse with its siblings.
Fingers crossed he/she survives. If it's male we can only hope he is able to intergrate into a coalition and isn't as much of an outsider like Casper is known to be.

I guessed it was a female based on the quick glimpses we got. All we can do is wait for definitive confirmation at this point.
