Wow it's looking so good I am finally in my 1980 caravan after months of pulling out cupboards and wardrobe I still have a few things to do like I don't like the roof hatches and I want to paint some of the cupboard doors because I can't stand the gold I wanted to send you pictures but I don't know how to do here I feel proud of myself because I did this or with very limited tools basically a sledgehammer a normal hammer and two screwdrivers and the chisel and very little money lol
I love being able to see the wood grain too! Here, in the states/Wisconsin, we don't use wood on the walls-always drywall. After drywall then wood might go up. I love your walls. Thank you for sharing with us. You are always in my prayers. Hugs
Congratulations ... well done! Seeking assistance for your mental well being is the right thing and I'm sure, with your general positive attitude can do nothing but good. All good wishes, Ken
Michael, you are an incredibly brave and positive man - an absolute inspiration. No shame whatsoever in seeking help - good on you for doing it. Thanx for showing us your home which is looking great. Gill 🇬🇧
Michael, as a pancreatic cancer survivor myself, I’ve got to say you are inspiring with all you’ve been going thru. Never feel bad to ask for help as sometimes we need help and other times we can give help. My husband was a self-employed auto mechanic and he let another mechanic rent half of the business garage. This guy caused a fire and we lost our livelihood. Friends from church and customers helped us at this time till my husband was able to find another job.. there was no internet back then. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.
Michael, thanks for the update. Hopefully you’ll all be settled properly soon. It’s taking shape! I hope that you can see the light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter. Loving thoughts and prayers with you all from Canberra. (Helen)
Great seeing you Michael Great to hear ya too. Progress on your home looks great too. I agree I too like the wood being natural with a coating on it. Good you reached out for help and much love to you from TN. ( 🇺🇸
I am happy to see that the house is finally looking like it is coming together. I'm also glad to hear the cancer has slowed down a bit. I will continue to pray for you because the world is a better place with you in it. Hugs from the Georgia mountains.
You have made amazing Progress in your house. Thank goodness your health is slightly better. Here is hoping things only get better with Time...Saying prayers for All your troubles.... Blessings upon you....
So happy to hear from you 😘 Just Remember how many people Care about you and love you ! It’s strange how we can fall in love with Someone we have never met . 😘
Great to see your lovely face I like the wood look too and to see everything getting done for you both hope the funding comes threw quickly for you Xxxx
You’re such a trooper through all this shit life has handed you. I admire your tenacity!, things are looking good there hope it get done quicker for you!!!!! Love to you!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hope and pray that someone will help pay the cost of raising your house up higher than the flood waters. If I wasn't on a fixed income I would love to help but I don't get much to get by month to month. But your house is looking better the wood walls look really cool. You should get something to put on them that's water proof so they don't buckle in high water. But I pray it will never flood again.
So good to see you making progress on your house. These “freak events” are happening all over the world. Climate change, you know. The new normal is that nothing will be normal anymore. We all have to brace for it. You’re looking good. I’m glad you were feeling good enough to make us a video and let us know how you are doing. Prayers!
Hi Michael, I'm so glad things are starting to turn around for you, I love what you did with all of the wood it looks gorgeous. I am sending you tons of love n hugs, keep looking forward never back. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
House is looking good - love the walls. Don't give up on the immunotherapy. My father had melanoma on his lungs and the immunotherapy fully cleared it up and he is now cancer free. Praying you get through this.
Hi Micheal. Nice to see you again. I love seeing your house- it's all slowly coming together. As I said previously, don't do your explores until you are feeling ready. Chin up keep smiling. Good to hear the cancer isn't growing too quickly. Would love to see finished result.
May such a flood never hit you again! I remember the previous house you had on the premises where the vibrations from nearby road work was causing the walls to crack and crumble... I'm glad I live up on the second floor on the top of a hill... Good luck with everything, Mike! You deserve it.
Love the woodgrain and it will be really cool to keep it simple. But what a long, long time to deal with the destruction. I wish you the very, very best, Mike.
Yay Michael! You have beautiful walls! I’m so glad you got some help. So many of us do and it’s ok to not be ok and need someone to talk to. Keep up the good work!
It’s going to be gorgeous with the wood grain featured. I love the character of wood. I don’t understand when folks paint over it, and conceal its innate beauty. Relatively good news from the doctor! I’m glad you are seeking counseling regarding your stress and resultant anxiety. I applaud your foresight in taking steps to mitigate future damage. I hate to say it, but more and more freakish weather events are likely, and in fact are happening all over the world with alarming frequency in areas that don’t usually experience it. I once told you about my younger brother seeking a liver and kidney transplant due to damage from diabetes. He has been turned down due to his heart. Told he had, at the most 2 years to live. He isn’t likely to make it that long. He suffers so from the parasentises and often can’t keep food down, or drink. I go over and spend the day with him twice a week, if he feels up to it. I’m delaying my double knee replacements until he no longer needs me. His name is Walter. I’ll continue my prayer for you and yours, and ask that you remember him in your prayers, if you’d be so kind. ✨💖🙏🏼🙏🏼💖✨
Love and prayers to you and your household. So sorry you have gone thru so much. Glad to hear your update - am always relieved to hear your voice and know how strong you are with all you deal with. My thoughts are with you - continue to be strong!
It's so good to hear from you. You've done an amazing amount of work on the house, I;m very proud of you :-) Sorry to hear of the cancer progressing. If you are planing a funeral, can we be part of the details so we can be part of the final end? That may sound morbid, but I do intent to get to Australia one day, and if I can't find you now, I;d like to be able to find you later, As far as a party, I'd also like to be included, I've been with you since you began, I feel like we are family, of sorts. I've been kicked off of FB, they say due to security risks from someone hacking my account, but am following you elsewhere, Are you on Twitter? I miss seeing you, and am so sorry for this tragedy with the house....... How is Dylan taking it all? Is he at all aware of the cancer, and what it means for him?- SDK
We love you... it is good to seek help, never be to proud to talk about struggles. Those with empathy understand and can ease some of the burdens and worries that go rampant in the mind. One day at a time , every sunset, sunrise just breath it in. I wish for you humor as well even if it is dark because laughter helps the soul...
Good work I knew you could do it 😊it’s a hard slog but if anyone can do it you can I also knew you wouldn’t leave us yet I believe it’s our kids that keep you going and that boy loves you 😊
You have such an amazing spirit me and my family will continue to pray for you and wish you the best. Your house is looking great after what happened to it, can't wait to see it when its done.
Hey Michael..Its looking good..Cant wait to see the finished product..I am also having treatment for cancer.I had stage 5 prostate cancer and underwent 4 weeks of radiotherapy..I was eating about 3-4 apricot kernals a day as the cyanide in them is supposed to attack the cancer cells and kills them..My last test I had for my cancer came back as a 0.01 from a reading of 10.
I hadn't known anything you'd been going through until two days ago I'm so glad things are looking up for you ...all the best I used to escape with your discoveries ...still do thank you
