    I'm glad I found this video. Everyone else is doing drawstring bucket bags, which I don't want. I want to do something like this with a clear body to be like an Ita Bucket bag.

    are you sewing right sides together then turning inside out?

      I think wrong sides (lining and main fabric) are sewn together to make the cylinder. The cylinder is made up of two circles and a rectangle, leaving raw edges. The ordinary belt aka nylon binding tape, is used to cover the raw edges like you would do when using bias tape in quilting.

      I believe this is nylon bias binding tape. I’ve personally only used waterproof canvas, fold over elastic, and cotton for binding raw edges.
