I might consider getting a second Wanda when they come out and when I get them. I might do the same thing because I am planning to make a lego Avengers series where Wanda will be included. So I might take your tip on fixing that thing. And your one of the best customizers in the community Ross love your figures👍🏻
Option 2 looks best IMO mostly because it resembles the comic look, probably even better if it were glossy.

I'm no expert but the few times I've painted stuff and messed it up a bit just like you describe in the hair-crown intersection, why don't just use a toothpick to remove some of the paint without having to remove all of it with water?
I was referring to really bad mess ups. Like if a lot of paint bled over onto the hair, because at that point trying to scrape it all away isn’t always the best option.

The real question with regards to the mandalorian showcase will it come out before or after the one year anniversery. I might get tuminios one however he does not have a figure that I was tempted to get that being is armourer (do need to ask about that) and do want his Paz vizla (HAM), I do also need to get some of the cmf just have not got around to doing it.

Couldn't you use a gloss top coat to fix the flat appearance of the paint?
Ross (or anyone else that paints), whenever I paint, no matter how long I let the parts I painted dry out, the paint is still easily able to be scratched off. Do you use a clear sealer? Or what’s the secret? I use apple barrel paints.
the secret is being really careful

I think markers would be too unprecise for something that tiny

I don't think there's honestly a problem with bootlegs I divided them between bootlegs and fan-made. Bootlegs are cheap knockoffs of the official figure that look absolutely terrible. Fan-made are ones that look better and have things that improve the minifigure that Lego doesn't do. I own one of the Marvel's endgame Rocket Raccoon and it picks so many issues with the official one that I hate about that one it looks terrible but this bootleg or fan-made fun example it even has small poseable legs that Lego just started doing and the printing is way better. Sometimes unofficial products of certain versions of mini figures can be a bit better than the official ones just putting that out there
This problem can be fixed just by painting the whole thing and not leaving that ugly hair outline it honestly looks better than the custom piece that way
Nah I'll stick to the crown we got, it's better than Nate's and the Ko cause it's official and I only like the official route.

Option 1: sell your soul. Option 2: Mess up over and over again. Option 3: Hava acsess to somthing you probrably never seen and become an artist.
This looks awesome I think lego should stop doing sets based of concept art and be more detailed with minifigs and the builds that's they make and make it clean instead of leaving major gaps
How? They have no clue what the characters look like when they design them, concept art is all they have.

Imo the lego one looks better, beacaus in the show the crown is in her hair. But in the costom the crown is over the hair.
No? With that logic her hair would literally have been shaped into a crown in the front. That’s basically what you’re describing there.
LEGO integrated the *shape* of the crown into the hairpiece but only added printing/color to the front. It’s incomplete.
