Great looking bike. I'd like to do this on my '09 Yamaha FZ6R. It has a low rise handlebar and it's always felt light in the front to me compared to the 600F4i I used to ride. I don't have a comealong in my garage but I do have a swingarm stand. Is there another way I could do this on my own?
Hi,what products do you suggest,I will share info if you like?About lowering forks on any bike the same rules apply if it is a sportbike, cruiser, dirtbike, etc. The geometry changes the angle as you lower fork legs and lowering handlebars does not change the fork angel. It is the fork angel that determines how quick a bike will turn in and how stable it will be at high speeds. The factory picks a compromise, same as they pick a seat height, powerband, etc. but it is a compromise. For me I ride in mostly twisty back roads and I experiment until I find what works for me under my conditions.Modern Moto GP bikes can change swingarm height to do similar fine tuning for various racetracks.I will explain in great detail on the next Q&A video, thank you for an excelent question and looking forward to hearing some detailing tips.THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Maybe show us how to do it? A lot of people like to see it in action and are visual learners

What are the straps attached to?
What are you using to lower?
have you also upgraded your springs? or is everything stock?
SOME PEOPLE DO,I DO NOT. IT IS HOW YOU WANT THE BIKE TO FEEL WHEN YOU TURN INTO A CORNER. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT SIMPLY PUT IT BACK STOCK.
How about the rear wheel do you lower that as well?
They make a 2 inch lowering link for the rear
