Thanks for uploading this video! This is the most informative and instructional video out there. Please do a complete video on how to properly lower the front end in proportion to the lowering links installed. Subbed!
Great video, I'm sure the ninja 300 and the ninja 400 are pretty similar, so this gave me an idea of how to go about the job. However, would it be a good/safe idea to use a rear bike mount to do this job?
Greetings!! Thank you so much for this great video. Thanks to it today I successfully to install a lowering kit for Kawasaki Z400 without any issue. All thanks to your detailed tutorial. You saved my day...
the farthest the distance of the holes, the lower the bike but, measure first what you need THEN use the correct hole. Usually the "bone" goes from 120mm to 150mm. My Tiger 900 Rally Pro standard is 100mm, 120 was too low, so I ordered a 110mm , the bike lowered 10mm (1cm) and high was perfect for a flat foot.
So glad I found this. I'm 16 and only 5 foot, and I want a Honda CBR250 and I'm too, well short. This helps alot. However, does this cause an increase in tension in the rear spring.
Roaring Toys, do you drop the front then as well? Could you do a video showing how to lower the front the right way so the geometry and handling isn't messed up? Would love to buy lowering links from you guys but lowering the front seems difficult
I bought the roaring toys lowering kit. Rear, front and kick stand. Any chance you can do a video on how to lower the front and install kick stand on a ninja 300???
Is it possible to increase the height of the ninja 300? I hear that the seating in that bike is very low and that its good for short riders. I kind of prefer a bit higher seating position bikes so I was wondering if there was a way to increase the height of the bike.
i know im asking this a little late in the game but i just started riding again after a 10 year break. i recently got my hands on a ninja 300 and have been doin some mods on it. so the questions is. IS THAT A TURBO YOU HAVE ON IT?
i have these lowering links, i wanted to raise it a bit more, i lifted it like here in the video with that lift but the links still were not budging, it still felt stuck. Could'nt find a sweet spot. If I hit the long bolt out the other end, will my bike be okay? it wont fall right since the jack is what is holding it up. please answer.
hi, does lowering the bike by an inch already affect the handling and side stand of the bike? i want to lower my cbr500r only by an inch, i don't want it too low, i just need 1 inch to be flat footed. does it affect the handling and side stand already? thanks
Roaring toyz doesn't have a stock option -- at least I think. I ordered a link with a stock setting, and Roarint toyz's top notch is an inch less than stock.
i have my 2015 zx6r lowered with this company links. it makes your takeoff a little unstable. like the handle bars sway :[ almost like a speed wobble. also its had to ride with a passenger on the back.
+Roaring Toyz, If people aren't too too short imo people should regret lowering their bike once the bike is moving. Stopping is 10% and 90% is riding. Lowering the bike makes it worse I assume. When leaning you want suspension travel when you hit something because when you bottom out leaning the bike can go down. I like the comfort knowing I can lean w/ confidence because I didn't lower the bike. I'm 5'275 and like 5'375 with the shoes. I can tippy toe both sides with like half an inch in the air on a stock '05 R6. I can flat foot on one side which means I'm covering the rear brake uphill. I just get off the bike and roll it with 2 feet on one side. There is no need to 2 feet backup while on the bike.
You my guy, just saved me so much time. Was trying to go high and almost went all the way down.
This is one of the best how to videos for lowering links on the internet. Thanks a lot!
