    I will say this. I've gone through countless mousepads trying to find something that not only feels great out of the box, but continues to feel great and hold up over time. The LGG Saturn is the best pad I have ever played on hands down. I get pretty sweaty hands while gaming for any amount of time and nearly every other pad I've played on became a mud-pad after a few months of use. My LGG Saturn feels the same today (after nearly a year of use) as it did the day I got it. Phenomenal control pad that also has enough speed to get your mouse where it needs to be. Can't recommend the pad enough.

    Even though I appreciate your nicely produced reviews I would advise people to always make their own decision no matter how good someone says a mousepad is. Why?
    I've been a long term Qck user (probably 6 years) and Artisan was widely mentioned and people generally talked bad about the Qck. I bought the "recommended" Artisan that's similar, but "better" than the Qck - the Zero. While it's an okay mousepad I'm so used to my Qck that I'm thinking about coming back to it. I'm very used to the strong stopping power the Qck provides, even in fast tracking games like Apex. The Artisan feels similar, but I always notice I'm missing that feel. I take care of my old Qck and I like the feel of it, never had a need to replace it, but I was really interested in the Artisan.
    You can get into a deep rabbit hole by getting into mousepads or you can stick to what works.
    And don't let me get started on "light mice are better for fps games".
    Like with everything, it's all preference.

I tried everything from the GSR to the Gamesense Radar and a handful of other pads nothing comes close to the Heavy except for the PA Black. I've come up with a foam/sponge rubber desk mat that turned out to be very comfortable and fairly mouse compatible, more like moderate sensitivity. Been using it for 3 years personally and my friends, so far it's been great so I've made a whole batch of them, it's called Fusionstrike Limestone Desk Mat if anyone interested getting one (currently ship within UK but could sort out international shipment too). The rubber is made from sustainable limestone rock instead of oil/petrol which makes it more environmentally friendly than most desk mats out there. It's laminated with super stretch smooth nylon so it's easier to clean it than most cloth mats.

    I'm using the qck+ right now with stitched edges and I think it's fairly underrated to. Holds up well. I've cleaned it once and it doesn't get dirty quick. It's not the thick version. It's a very consistent surface with basically zero break in. I think the majority of QCK durability issues was with the edges peeling up on older non stitched edge versions. I see a lot of people rank the fury s higher which I also have and it's trash. Very bumpy uneven surface that I'd put in dogshit tier for sure. Just ordered to aqua control 2 as I'm in Canada and it's one of the only S tier mouse pads I can get easily. Can also get artisan but have to wait a while and it costs like $120 CAD.

    Hi!
    I've been using the regular QcK for my whole quake career but I do have issues with slow spots, humidity changes and even temperature changes that may affect humidity of the slowspots. So I end up getting used to have a somewhat wore down surface that is slower than when it's new. So if I get a new one it takes me like 3 months before I get back go my baseline performance in game. So I'm thinking of getting a hybrid instead. And since I'm cheap I was planning on getting a odin gaming infinity hybrid pad. But that didn't make it to your top list? What pad are closest to the QcK? And are there any ones out there without stitched edges? I use high sens and use like a small area/the corner of the pad actually. I don't even rest my hand on the pad but instead on the desk. So I'm always close to the corner with the placement of my mouse. Stitched edges will interfere with the fact that I sometimes cross the edge of the pad with the top section of my mouse. Do you think it's possible go cut away the stiched edges without getting too much fraying?

I have been told that the gamesense radar is also good but with newer pads out in the market i am not sure how older pads seem to hold up nowadays. As with most gaming surfaces, the Dream machines DM Pad XXL has a rubber backing to help keep it in place while you play. This is a very useful feature that helps ensure stability during intense movements.

    I bought the AC Zero based on this recommendation and I don't know if it was just my unit but, the mousepad is completely unusable if I press into it. Messed up my spray control for days until I realised it was the mousepad. It would just slow down infinitely the more pressure you put into it. Otherwise the speed and control were perfect.

    • @sebaba001
      @sebaba001 10 месяцев назад

      Many mousepads have that as a feature. The thicker they are the more you can dig in for more control. Maybe you would enjoy a harder pad.

      an update to this - I got used to the mouse and it's a great mouse for speed and microadjustments but it does have a slightly slow tug when adjusting over longer distances. feels like an actually controlled version of the Artisan Zero

    Hey Haus, I love your videos! I was wondering how the AC Zero compares to the Odin Infinity? I currently have the Alexotos Deskpad version and have been wanting to branch out with some others. The Odin I feel is balanced leaning towards fast, so if the AC Zero feels balanced leaning towards control in comparison to the Infinity then I think it would be a good compliment

      I can't recall sadly! Been a while since I've used it. Both are balanced options and ones you should be able to get used to. The biggest difference between those is that PA/GSR-SE-Rouge or gris are smooth and the Zero is more textured.
