The Disney channel movie, Wendy Wu Homecoming warrior, has terracotta soldiers that get re-animated… I believe. It’s been a while since I have watched it 😂
I teach 6th grade social studies. We are starting our unit on Ancient China. I am also fascinated with the terracotta warriors. PERFECT TIMING for this video. Thank you.
We have 2 Terra Cotta Warriors in our school library! A gift from an exchange program we hosted in the past. So cool to learn more about the history behind them :)
I teach sixth grade too in Southern CA!! Do you have a pacing guide for sixth grade? We piloted TCI and Savvas so our district ended up adopting Savvas!! I bought the resource but I’m not even close to teaching it yet!!!Lol 😅😅😅
I'm not sure if you've done a video on Ancient Nubia before, but I've literally learned nothing about it in school and would love to hear what you teach.
Any tips for new history teachers with social anxiety? Personally, I'm more geared for collegiate lecturing, being more of an introvert. Nevertheless, I have an opportunity to teach high school right now, but am scared out of my wits right now. Any thoughts or resources will be appreciated. Thanks!
@too cool for middle school I just listened to your advice on introverts in teaching. Thanks for the encouragement. I'll leave a more lengthy reply there since this is pretty off-topic for this video. Thanks again! Cheers!
So inspiring. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!! I am new to 6th grade and this was perfect!!
I love teaching ancient civilizations! Thanks for talking about this!

I really appreciate you being such an amazing resource and inspiration for teaching ancient history 💜
I love the enthusiasm you have for this topic. Your students are lucky to have you. Now I need to read up on Terracotta Warriors.
Saving for later when my 6th graders finally get to Ancient China!

I do! I have videos on this channel of my pacing guides for the past few years
I have pictures of the ruins if you want them.

Oh that's a good idea! We should just do a whole series on the things our teachers never taught us!
@@toocoolformiddleschoolblog That would be such a good series! I barely got anything from Ancient China, so it was nice to see this video as well!
