Megan,
I as even an autistic person have experienced something like this before. Having to adjust and cut off when it is time to cut off and adjust to nap time, etc.
Question: Out of curiosity what do you do with your child for like a wind down period before nap time?
Quite honestly, I cannot blame the child for wanting a "huggy" from you because you look so beautiful that even I want a hug from you sometimes.
