i wish smite would deal more damage when you release the skill, to encourage people to let go of the blitz key after they press it, the knockdown is powerful but the damage doesn't suit the name smite

Personally, I prefer a Psyker who kills things over the infinite smite cc builds. Plus, we all know infinite smite is going to get fixed eventually.

Yes, even if "Trigger Empowered Psionics once and dodge slide for the rest of the map smiting everything" is intended behavior. It kills slowly and the slows the team down in general.
Your gameplay worked fine without Empowered Psionics.

@@Hrothfuurd I completely agree there is a difference between "Use and Abuse" of this skill. It does slow you down and the damage is not perfect. However the CC cannot be compared to anything else in the game. If you have a psyker who abuses this rather than use it - just leave them behind. It´s Darktide in the end.
