While working in Leprosy unit at peshawar , Dr Nakamuru teached us this communicable disease with live example . He was.sympathetic lovely teacher. I personally remember him as great doctor.
Apart from medical field he achieved a lot while working in Afghanistan irrigation system & drinking water supply. I solute this honorable person who achieved many goals in his life.
I am from the Philippines..I admired you Sir.of being the true witness of a man for the purpose,not for himself but for the LOVE of his fellowmen without any boundaries,whatever the race or whatever the religion or beliefs,in the beginning we are the same who came from one ancestor..and let us allow ourselves to be poison our minds and hearts..and listen to anybody who are full of hatread against his fellowmen coz those kind of people were lost and their mentors and their teachers were having the self interest..they wanted us to put in trouble..due to their personal problem...

Although born in Japan, Dr. Nakamura spent most of his life in Afghanistan and served poor Afghan families more than our own leaders. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Where did the funding come from?
@@mdroknulislam1625 I don't think you need much funding. If you have an idea and the people realize that it will benefit them they will work for it for free. I am guessing Japan provided funding. The unfortunate thing is that he was born right after world war 2 where two atomic bombs murdered thousands. His life ended in an area where the Americans were supposed to provide security. The American failure almost 70 years apart cost him everything.

In Japan, his office collects donations and uses them to pay wages to workers and purchase materials and construction machinery.
No politics. No religion. Just go and help. He brought life and prosperity. Beautiful.

"For those who do good deeds, there shall be the best reward and yet more blessings. (Ch.10: V.27)"
and even for other religions than islam:
"Surely the believers and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians - whichever party from among these truly believes in Allah and the last day and does good deeds - shall have their reward with their Lord and no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve. (Ch.2: V.63)"

I regard that doctor more highly than a majority of world leaders. I'm convinced he's in a better realm now and will be justly rewarded by the divine for his virtuous actions on Earth. Furthermore, I pray that his lasting impact, represented not just by the canal but also by the countless lives he's saved and assisted, will continue to be felt for years to come, allowing him to attain the ultimate spiritual reward for his tireless efforts.
His humanitarian works for Afghans is unforgettable & much precipitated. May his soul be in highest paradise. He was an angel.

This guy deserved a Nobel Prize for Peace. Not only did he help build a canal that ended a drought and irrigated hundreds of thousands of acres, as well dig as thousands of wells--which will help feed countless Afghans for generations--but he knowingly put his own life at risk, working in war zone for decades. Yet in helping bring life and prosperity to Afghanistan, he probably did more to stabilize this war-torn region than all the peacekeeping forces sent by the UN and allied nations.

This is just one man without any power, just a good heart and an idea. It's just goes yet again to tell you that people of power doesn't have any intentions of eradicating poverty and suffering.
Not only Nakamura san doin great mega projects but many if them can be found anywhere esp in africa s poorest countries . These are the kinds of volunteers that jaoanese govt hires. Professionals mostly from doctors, agri scientists , builders engineers and with bank accounts that can lasts lifetime and the japanese govt funding their projects.
