I think the reason he cannot perform is because it has things to do with power. He felt like his position as heir was threatened and he was losing power so he couldn’t perform with his mistress, he was all into it with Rhnerya until she was into it and started being more aggressive towards him. Obviously his wife was a very strong dominant woman so you could imagine she probably made him feel very emasculated. He thrives when he’s wanted mark my words he’ll be able to perform once he’s with a woman that he feels he is dominating.

I think it's an important point that Criston attacks and murders Joffrey, not just a nobleman and just because he snapped. Joffrey just spilled his secret and offered an alliance of secret paramours, and Criston feels insulted that he was reduced to "a whore" again. And he decides to murder him, because he wants to get back at Rhaenyra and Laenor: for having the freedom, for having their honour intact, for having each others backs. Basically, it's a revenge murder, with the premise that he is ready to die himself. Like I'm gonna fuck it up for you before I go.

I don't think that Criston knew that he was going to kill Joffery. There was nothing premeditated within those split moments and if he really wanted to do a "revenge" murder he would've waited for a different (not public) opportunity. I believe he was truly so overwhelmed at the realization that he was a "whore again" that he started to fight Joffery and accidentally killed him out of anger. It's difficult to argue that there was pre-meditation since it was a really quick decision.

Kristen Cole's problem is not love, but honor. He is not in love with Rhenira and nowhere does he say - I love you. He talks about freedom and a new way of life that Rhaenyra supposedly constantly murmured about. In fact, he himself said, "I thought that if we got married, I would regain my honor." Nothing else.
When he confessed to Alicent, he spoke only of the consequences to himself and not a word about those that Rhaenyra would have to overcome.

Every time we’ve seen her interact with her children in the past few episodes she is not engaged with them at all and she isn’t even capable of calming them down enough to stop crying. It would make sense seeing as how they were basically forced on her & considering how “1 or more of them” turn out it makes sense that she wouldn’t be exactly loving & nurturing toward them during their childhood.

Oh, another observation. Just because the King couldn't see Daemon getting close and possibly kissing Rhaenyra, it's very much possible from Cristin's viewpoint while Joffrey was talking to him, saw Daemon and Rhaenyra possibly going to kiss and just lost it. Because he didn't know Rhaenyra was out with Daemon just before he had sex with her (He just learned that from Alicent), breaking his oath and since she doesn't love him but loves Daemon, she was just using him. That would make any guy flip.
Joffrey being there softly blackmailing him wasn't helping and he was the nearest person to clobber.

whether Joffrey was (1) threatening or (2) teasing Criston or saying (3) this sucks that we're the side-hoes forever to be side-hoes.

I think they should've slowed down the spread of his illness throughout these past 5 episodes to make that more believable lol. Like, I'm sure the audience is fully aware of the fact that he's not going to be around for much longer, so they probably could've scaled back on how deathly ill they made him appear to be in each episode.

If you watch the scene where the Quenn Alicent walks into the throne room during the banquet Daemon is the only person in the whole room that doesn't stand. He remains seated the whole time and shows that he hates Otto so much it carries over to his daughter and you can't blame him. If Otto didn't manipulate the King to remove Daemon from being the heir then none of this would have happened. What's sad is that Daemond displays most of the characteristics of being a great leader and king. He's not perfect but that is why you surround yourself with people who can negate those weaknesses.

The whole season has been a bless so far, but this episode is an absolute 10/10, on par with some of the very best of GoT.
Criston going bat-shit insane, Daemon being Daemon, Otto being characterized as a much more neutral player than thought at first, Alicent taking control of her life for once, Larys developing as this show's Littlefingerish character-type, Viserys descending even further down into weakness, Corlys getting payback on the several slights his family suffered, and Ser Harwin "THE UNIT" Breakbones showing off after people complained about how he doesn't look the part as the strongest knight in the realm!

Honestly I think the thing with Criston had more to do with the class divide than his honor. She's not taking the same risks he is. This guy who came from nothing is not going to react well to the thought that he's been used and discarded.
Criston shares a thread with Rhaenyra and Daemon and Viserys; at some point he realizes playing the game is useless for him. It might get him station, but it won't make him any happier.
That all intersects with what Fabian Frankel was saying in an interview about how Criston's a "thug," who disdains the court and sees himself as fundamentally apart from them. So he feels like someone's risked his life on a limb, and he's also self-centered and arrogant in a real big real medieval knight kind of way, and that leads to violence.

Aegon The Unworthy (Blackfyre Rebellions), Aegon The Unlikely (Blood Raven shows up), Aerys The Mad King (so we get a little of Robert's rebellion) they could make each one last about 3 seasons and segway into the next story.

They didn't do a good job of explaining what exactly was happening during the melee, how it started, who was involved, what it ultimately meant, etc. Maybe I was too preoccupied with the idea of it being another red or purple wedding, so I was falling for red herrings indicating a scheme was underway (e.g. Rhaenyra's dialogue, Lionel's hand gesture and Rhaenyra scooped up, the king's reaction, all the men pouring through the door, etc.), when it just turned out to be a couple of dudes fighting to the death. Followed immediately by just a wedding-lite. Ok, I guess

So because we didn't really see what happened, and though I can't stand him, Ser Criston Cole MAY have just been doing his job. Our view was obscured, purposefully.. there has to be a reason for that.
Maybe Daemon did kiss Rhaeynera and Joffrey went to attack Deamon for dishonoring Laenor and his future wife during their wedding festival and Cole jumped into action to protect Deamon and Rhaeynera.
I'm not saying that's what definitely happened... just that it's a possibility or something like that might have happened that we didn't see... because we really didn't see anything...except the end of the fight.

Lionel has been a chief confidant to the king and he is now the hand. From the beginning, he has shown reservations against putting a woman on the iron throne. Could he have passed this information along with full knowledge that it could destabilize the relationship between Rhaenyra and Alicent?

Him failing to keep his oath as a Kingsguard by sleeping with a member of the royalty of all people not only damages his honor and reputation but also damages the reputation of House Cole for generations to come. theres two explanations: first, he, like everyone else, bolted in the confusion while the king etc couldnt see what was going on, and immediately went to kill himself only to be tracked down by alicent. the second is that he was doing his duty after joffrey attacked daemon for kissing rhaenyra (fitting for the knight of kisses) and so cristin jumped on the opportunity. notably daemon was completely absent once the fight broke out.
