      As a Cubs fan, at least the moment happened in the run!
      Edit: I guess looking back, that moment kind of set the tone, just being the first game of that whole postseason run. I'd almost relate it to Schwarbers homer in G4 of the 2015 NLDS, just being such a monumental "We're here now, and this is what we're made of" kind of moment.

      I was surprised that out of all the moments from the 2016 postseason, like the comeback against the Giants in Game 5, winning the pennant, and winning the World Series, the Game 1 homer was the one you picked. That was a great moment, of course, but definitely not the greatest.

    It’s pretty unbelievable that Kershaw who’s one of the most dominant lefty on lefty pitchers there’s ever been has given up two huge postseason home runs to lefty’s. One of which was a pitcher

    Howie Kendrick had an absolutely abysmal 2019 post season. Yet he has 2 of the most clutch homeruns in baseball history in this same postseason😂. Gotta love baseball! Thanks for everything howie! Man lifted a 95 year curse in dc

      He was the MVP of the NLCS, where he absolutely mashed. I understand that many people forget that series because it was a sweep, but for some of us Nats fans with 2012 PTSD it meant a lot to have him spank the Cards.

    I was at that Oakland A's game with my baby cousin. It was his first game and the team gave us free baseballs, then Khrush Davis hits a walk off grand slam. Greatest first game ever for the kid.

    Muncy in the 18th for the Dodgers is an all time classic, that's fs. I would consider these alongside it:
    - hobbled Gibson walk off
    - Taylor walks off St. Louis
    - Rick Monday against the Expos
    - 4+1 comeback vs Padres (2006)
    - 1+4 comeback vs Padres (2021)
    - JT walks off the Cubs
    - Uribe in the 8th vs Atlanta in the DS
    - Steve Finley's slam to win the division
    - Culberson walks it off for the division title

    As an Orioles fan, I'm sorry, but as pumped up as the Delmon Young double made me...its gotta be Cal Ripken's 2131. That record will never be broken. I was only in kindergarten, but I get goosebumps watching it now. What it meant not only for Baltimore/Maryland, but the whole MLB given the strike.

    How could you not have Joey Bats for the Jays highlight.....The Encarnacion bomb was cool, but Joey Bats was legendary. The end highlight of maybe the craziest single full inning in playoff history.
    Never forget that Pirates WC game vs. Reds....that place was INSANE that night.

      my favorite moment from that world series was later on in that same game Alex Gordon tying the game against the Mets closer with a 440 ft blast to dead center on a 1-1 count. Idk why but I always thought he hit that ball further.

      I've watched that homerun a bunch of times and I wish they had 4k or something back then, I think you can see a white blur go over the second wall but the people in the stands are trying to jump over the barriers further back than that, almost at the scoreboard. I don't know how large the drop-off is right there but I personally don't recommend doing that, as that is a good way to get kicked out of the game.

      @@mostlytrue3150 it’s a big drop lol. Now they don’t even have grass there, I think to discourage jumping down. It’s grass on the visible part that you see on tv but at a game last season I got there early and Greinke was out in right center under hand tossing to his son. Most of them landed down there and I wasn’t about to get thrown out before the game even started lol. but we were able to grab a couple souvenirs. I would have asked for an autograph or something because he’s my favorite player of all time growing up. But guys with his kid so changed my mind. Was hoping I would get another chance, but he still hasn’t landed with a team. Hoping the royals at least do what Toronto did just now with Joey Votto

      @amonrodriguez3518 I agree with you on that, I don't know how you could be anyone but like Carlos Quentin and not like greinke, there are so many anecdotes and funny stories about some of the things he's done. I think my favorite one was I guess when he played with the dodgers, yasiel puig had a tendency to show up late and I guess one day greinke had enough and so he grabbed puigs bag, got off the bus and threw it in the middle of the street and then just went back to his spot like nothing had happened.
      That and winning a Cy young with possibly the worst team anyone has ever won a Cy young with (I haven't looked up the metrics but the royals were so terrible the year he won the Cy young with them it's criminal).

    These clips are definitely recency bias, not that that is a bad thing, it's your moments and feeling the most connection to moments that happened more recently is valid, just an observation, my moment for Mariners for example would have been when they saved their club in the 90s
